I saw this in NYC 20 years ago, only 6 months into moving to the city after family kicked me out for being gay, so yeah this one is a special one. It was the first broadway show I ever got to see actually
I balled through the entire thing too! I’ve never been so excited for a movie! I love the fact that they made Elphaba a black woman aka the one and only Cynthia, because I believe this will make so many people feel seen and heard because of their/our differences! Thank you for your reaction, it made me cry all over again!
@@seanrstephens yes I agree 100%! I wish we all could see this movie together, how epic would that be? To have all of the true, authentic, major Wicked fans in one place!
I had the SAME reaction! & crazy thing is that I’ve actually never seen anything Wicked! But I am EXCITED and I know it’s going to be the MOVIE OF THE YEAR! 🩷🫧💚
I’ve seen Wicked a couple of times and I CAN. NOT. WAIT. The music in Act 1 is AMAZING and this is just a sample. It’s my absolute favorite musical of all time 🩷💚
Honestly this is the best reaction! I am so excited for this! I too have seen the Broadway 3 times!!! This looks fantastic and crying every minute of it!
I live in NYC, and saw Wicked with Stephanie J Block and Annaleigh Ashford back in 2007 I think? I’m glad I’m not the only one who weeped throughout this trailer! As someone who LOVES the book, the musical and The Wizard of Oz… this reaction was what I needed. And you’re very handsome… 😂💚🔮🧹
OMG, you're adorable! Instant fan. I cried so hard when the trailer released, watched it on a loop for a while. Since then I was an absolute mess at the early access screening for the movie, and I'm crying along with you, watching your reaction, now. It doesn't cease to impact. Thanks for sharing. P.S. You'd be a Hottie-hot-HOT Boq 😉
I was in middle school, maybe younger, when I discovered Wicked, specifically the original cast album. I never had the opportunity to see the show anywhere. That means this movie will be my first Wicked show 💚 I might cry 😅
Awww!!! I feel you. I grew up in the middle of nowhere South Carolina so movie musicals were sometimes the only accessible options. I’m happy you’ll get to experience the magic!!
I've never seen Wicked, only knew vaguely about it but this trailer had me crying. So impressive! So emotional! Looks like it will be an awesome film! Btw have you seen the Lego version of this trailer?
Never seen the Wicked on Broadway or even read the book but I was a huge fan of The Wizard of Oz. From the movie, yellow-bricked road to the ruby red slippers I had as a kid. I'm excited for this movie and I hope it does well at the box office. In case if you didn't know, this is part one of Wicked. I think part two will be released next year
“and i said yes” 😭
Lmao!!! I was not about to get into it all during computer class 😭
Best reaction ever. I took myself to see Wicked with Kristen, Idina and the entire original cast and I have been changed for good
That had to have been so special!!!
The aggressive removal of the glasses to see better 😫😂😂😂💚
The removing of the glasses to see better sent me 😂😂
The imagery in this is absolutely stunning.
Boy i feel you, when you started weeping was around thr same time i did too lmao

Elphaba is very much a character that resonates with gay people and I’m sorry you went through that 💜
@@seanrstephens I was changed for good because of it
THE GLASSES!

Cynthia’s gonna crush it. Anyone who thinks she’s wrong for it has no idea what wicked is actually about.

But where u get the glasses!?!
I got them off Lensmart, they’re called “Nevaeh” on the site. They’re super cheap!
@@seanrstephensThose glasses are going to be fifty dollars after the movie comes out.
