I love my MK II. Honestly, it's hard to imagine a more extensive feature set or better build quality for the money. One of the best features is the neck profile. Very thin like a modern Wizard profile, but in a C shape rather than D shape. Add in the compound radius fretboard and stainless frets and you have a very fast neck. The only downside for me is the pickups. Not that they are bad. They just don't play well with my amp. Too much upper mids and not enough bass to match with my 6505+/Boogie 4x12. Not a bad thing, just not the best match. It doesn't hurt that the MK II is a drop dead gorgeous guitar. The natural satin finish feels sexy and looks classy.
I can't imagine my self ordering a custom guitar without SS frets ! Now to put down the cash and get an off the shelf quality guitar with stainless steel frets already in, that's a dream ! Regular nickel frets wear out fast under my fingers !
I'd like to see the evidence that those glow in the dark dots actually work, I have read up on them and they are often complained about for being far too weak to actually see on stage...?
Brian Cullen The glow in the dark side dots need to be charged for a few mins by shining an LED torch at them to be properly used - without this they do appear weak and like they aren't working. I made this mistake the first time I used them! Who reads instruction manuals though, amiright?
Brian Cullen, my educated opinion is this. No, the GITD markers aren't perfect. But you can see them better in the dark than any normal dot. In my 35 years of playing guitar the only better system I have seen is led/fiber optics. Which no manufacturer that I know of offers for even 4 times the price of the MK II. The secret to GITD material is how you charge it. Bright light is great, but the material needs to soak in the light for a substantial period of time. The better way is to use a small handheld UV flashlight. Since UV is what actually charges GITD material. Regardless, the better the charge the brighter and longer the glow time.
If you really want to get anal and right, it's WEN-GEH it's and african wood and it's the african pronounciation, WEN-GAY would be the english/australian pronounciation. Now get on with life please ;-)
Good demo. I hope you keep the guitar. I look forward to seeing more.

yes they work perfectly well, if you give good lightning in the beggining for 15 min they glow in the dark really well.
