    www.gak.co.uk/en/schecter-km-...
    he Schecter KM-6 MK-II Keith Merrow Signature 6 String is a beautiful signature instrument that is tasteful, useful and modern. The utilitarian nature of the KM-6 with its black hardware, single volume knob and 3-way selector adds a minimal beauty to this stunning instrument. The flame maple top in Natural Pearl, dark ebony fingerboard and offset inlays complete the look to create a guitar that isn't just made for metal. A pair of coil-splittable Seymour Duncan pickups, a Nazgul in the bridge and Sentient in the neck give you a wide range of options, handling distortion and crystal clear cleans with equal aplomb.

    This guitar is a powerhouse. Everything you play sounds tight and powerful. Best guitar I have ever owned.

    Cannot decide between this. Or the PRS Mark Holcomb SE. Both are amazing guitars. Awesome demo by the way

    Awesome review as always. Was just wondering about the neck since i live in Rhodes and i don't have access to pretty much anything. What is the neck like? is it a bit thicker than a wizard hp? Comfortable for small hands? i would appreciate a reply. thanks!

    • @GakCoUk
      @GakCoUk  7 лет назад +1

      Hey dude its a very slim neck not as far as a wizard. I have small hands and it was fine so i would say its all good for all size hands.

    Hey Faceman nice and solid playing as always....wanted to know what's your take on the Kemper?.....Is this the beginning of the end for tube amplification....Tried it at my local guitar store with a 2X12 and this thing just floored me...

    • @GakCoUk
      @GakCoUk  7 лет назад +2

      FACEMAN IS HERE TO ANSWER.
      I think it truly is an amazing piece of equipment BUT...... I still think you will always have your classic guys, the guys and gals that will never want to move away from Valve gear me included.

      Is there any truth about you launching an acting career as the new Marvel Super hero.....AKA The Faceman....where you'll save the world of Beyonce and her evil dwellers by fighting with your 6 strings axe to save us from FM elevator music.....By the way please...NO red and blue tight pants....wont do justice to your skin tone.....
      More seriously....it's only my 2 cents.....but think that digital in a few years will catch to the musicality of tube amplification.....Thanks man from snowy Québec on a minus 20 morning.....

    I think since this is metal guitar the guitar would sound wider at a lower tunning drop C or C standard! great review nonetheless I wish they had different colors of the Mark II and not only the Mark I haha

    Awesome!! What's the best way to get started with sweep picking?

    • @GakCoUk
      @GakCoUk  7 лет назад +1

      Hey dude,
      Thats a hard thing to answer everyone does it differently BUT i can explain how i have started to practise it (still not very good at it). Unfortunately i took the boring route of learning, same way i practice faster alternate picking just really slow to a click and slowly speed up the click. BUT i never push myself to sloppiness...........if i put it up to a speed i cant do i stay at the speed just below that until i feel 100 percent confident i can do it. THEN i move up.
      If that helps then SWEET if not then don't worry about ever listening to me again ha ha ha ha

    What chord is he using 02:31 ?

    • @4572dk
      @4572dk 7 лет назад +1

      CarnivorousRoach its a kind of power chord but it has a weird sound. for example play the 5th fret of the 6th string, 5th fret of 5th string and 7th fret of the 4th string and you'll get that sound

    • @CarnivorousRoach
      @CarnivorousRoach 7 лет назад +1

      Dhruv Kotecha Thanks, could that be a drop tuning though? it felt like that kind of chord.

    • @4572dk
      @4572dk 7 лет назад +1

      CarnivorousRoach maybe but when I play the chord I just told you about it sounds exactly like this one. If its drop tuned than that shape he is playing will have the effect of a minor 9 chord.

    • @GakCoUk
      @GakCoUk  7 лет назад

      HEY DUDE,
      Its just a normal bar chord but instead of playing the 3rd fret on the E string and just the 5th fret in the A string play the 3rd fret in the E string the 3rd fret on the A string and then play the 5th fret on D string BOOM. got yourself a gnarly metal chord as dark as the dark lord himself. Then just move that shape around, Hope that helps you dude.
      Joss
