I'm heartbroken. Not just by the event but by the fact that we are still debating what happened that day.
This finally broke me and I cried. My heart has been broken since Jan 6th but I didn't cry until now. My family bleeds red, white, and blue. I grew up an Army brat because my parents both served, my sister se bed in the air force. My father died of als in December which was most likely caused from his service, my mother had a syndrome caused from being experimented in during her service and she would have done it all over again. To be told I'm not a patriot because I refuse to try and overthrow my government infuriates me. I've lost a lot in service to my country without ever serving myself
Floyd rioters were far more violent than these people, and some of the same people who yapped "defund the police" on twitter last year are now cheering for the 2.1 billion dollar budget allocation for capitol police and national guard.
