      As someone who had two cars stolen in Italy, 74 Fiat 500 and BMW 745, I can attest to this. Nothing gets done from 12-2 which actually means an hour or so before and after those times.
      It took me over an hour every month to deposit the rent into my landlords bank account.

      Also Japanese police are EVERYWHERE. I've had to pop in to one of the "koban" boxes before over a lost passport. Friendliest cops I've ever dealt with. They all have their "japanese to english police phrasebook". And a decent sense of humor. He'd have very easily been able to rectify the issue.

    Apparently, there was another car, an F50, that was stolen in Italy in 2003, went to Japan, then to Canada, where it was sold to someone in Florida. The car was intercepted before it entered the US, with sketchy in modifications. They still do no not know who legally owns the car.

    Someone should open a company to buy ownership of insurance losses. Find leads and take ownership of the vehicles. Pricing for claims will be adjusted to make sure it's not worth exploiting this system.

There is an f40 in my area and the guy who owns it takes it out on weekends during the summer and cruises hwy100 with hundreds of other cars.. that is truly enjoying a car for what it is.
