- President Joe Biden lands in San Francisco aboard Air Force One after Vice President Kamala Harris arrived on Air Force Two a few minutes before. The President departed in a motorcade of Secret Service vehicles, escorted by the California Highway Patrol. The White House officials will be attending the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit.
Air Force One used one of two iconic Boeing VC-25As for the trip, a modified 747. Air Force Two was a smaller Boeing C-32, a modified 757. President Biden traveled in the Presidential Stately Limousine nicknamed 'The Beast'. Vice President Harris' motorcade isn't shown, but she traveled in an armored Chevrolet Suburban.

@@HesTNTonPMS True, but it wouldn't be possible. I believe there is a ground-stop in effect for a certain period of time prior to the arrival and departure of AF1. Basically, no other aircraft are allowed to be in motion within a certain radius of AF1. (well, maybe except for other military aircraft.)
Something like this would be possible overseas when Air Force 1 is followed by the backup plane. Unfortunately the security logistics probably wouldn't allow Air Force 1 and 2 to land at the same time (wherever that is in the world)! It would have been cool though.

It's always so impressive to see the number of vehicles accompanying the President of the US and also for everything to be perfect it takes weeks or even months of preparation God bless the United States of America
Don't forget about the decoys they setup everywhere and pre-scouting locations by the secret service. I worked at a job on the opposite corner of the Fairmont Hotel where Biden is staying for a while. On one week the fairmont hotel parking had homeland security, secret service, chp and SFPD securing the location and surrounding blocks for someone "important". When they left the valet guy there told me it was the Colombian president doing his tour of the US. I'd imagine how much more extreme it'd be for Xi JingPing and Apec leaders.
Makes me wonder why NONE of the motorcade vehicles are battery powered since they have been pushing everyone to go electric.

im mostly curious about how you, or those like you, get the information so far ahead of time that youre able to find your filming location and get everything set up. perhaps they release public travel schedules for the press, if youre considered press? ... i could be way off base here, but im curious either way. Nice vids too
They release the president’s daily schedule ahead of time. Also you can track AF1 and AF2 and listen to ATC and look at existing runway uses for the airport.

I live near Andrews AFB and have been on Base many times. Seeing both aircraft on the flight line is magnificent. I've had the pleasure to walk-on the C-32 or AF2. It's a dated Boeing 757 conversion.

Absolutely like it and I wonder if a B777-322er can be converted to replace the C-32 used by VP Harris as her air transport. Air Force 2 engines are the same as a B757-232 251 & 222 versions PW2040. In some cases the military will have observers at DL and UA PW2040 engine maintenance facilities if the Air Force doesn't have one. Oddly the UA B737max if converted for military use gets seen as another C-40 variant used to transport speaker of the house when needed some cases the vice president. These days referred to as Mr Speaker due to Mike Johnson Shreveport Louisiana holding the title
