Enjoyed the vid and the great editing. I have my own channel and love visiting run down and deserted historic sites. Good luck with your site & I will sub.
I really like this, you've done a very good job of editing, producing etc. The camera-work with the DJI Pocket 2 is perfect (I used the the original Pocket 1, which is still good!). You'll soon get 1000 subs at this rate! 👍 (I've already subscribed!)
Thank you for your kind comments! I'm really impressed with the DJI Pocket 2 so far. It seems ideal for a beginner and so much more compact than my previous set up. Thanks again 🙂
@@walkingthewyrd I think the videos are really stable with this camera. And it's so tiny! Looking forward to more of your videos. Oh, and you're not a beginner at all, you videos and camera-work are very professional!
Again a very interesting walk. 👍👍👍Oh, and Nic, Old Sarum is also a very nice area to walk around i think, it's a little to far from the Nertherlands to visit. 👍👍👍
Yes, it was really, really quiet! I just tipped up on a random Saturday afternoon, and hardly anyone was there. Thanks for taking the time to watch, much appreciated 😊
Those old prisons are the grimmest of places. Can't imagine having to spend 1 night in the tiniest cell rooms let alone a few weeks or months....the place must have been riddled with cold and damp...and rats too! Abandon hope all ye who enter here 😵💫
I eventually got here. Loving this video. Got it on the tv. Ill be watching more.
Thanks so so much, Beardo! I know you're extremely busy, so it really is massively appreciated!

@pbcreative6388 thank you!
Great video, I enjoyed it. One comment I will make is that the prison was built in 1610 which makes it a 17th. century not a 16th. century one.
Ah yes, you're absolutely right. I think I've made that mistake a few times, so thank you for correcting me.
Glad you enjoyed the video!
I have just subbed. Great video. I went there about 2 years ago on a ghost hunt in the evening and I caught a couple of great photos in the dark x
Thank you so much, Jules! It's a fascinating location, and it sounds like it may have been active for you!
Somewhere I've been meaning to go for years !
Great vid Nic, very atmospheric 👍 x
Thanks Sarah! 🙂 You definitely need to get on down there!

I agree - Old Sarum is definitely somewhere I will be filming at soon! Thank you for watching and commenting. 🙂
Just catching up on your vids. Love this place, alwasy wanted to go there. Did you have the place to yourself? didn't look like anyone was around :)

Thank you for your kind comment. Good to hear the youtube algorithm is doing its thing! 😀
I just found u and subbed. Like the video and love the accent.
Thank you and welcome!
Spooky, my ancestors the Strode's are from Shepton Mallet!
You should definitely visit! It's a very spooky place 👻
I went to shepton mallet prison today for a self guided tour
I hope you enjoyed it and glad you got to visit before its closure next month.
@@walkingthewyrd yes I heard it's closing next month what are they going to turn it into
I think I could see Albert pierrpoint in the pictures of the exacutioners
You're absolutely spot on! Albert and his uncle Thomas William Pierrepoint carried out the majority of the American executions.

Definitely very grim! It's almost as if the trauma still lingers in the walls somehow. Thanks for watching 🙂
