Wow 5k it's so cheap! I paid 8k for a slightly bigger place in Shanghai, a very traditional compound where grannies sit outside and check who's coming in/out :) You have to be polite as much as possible :)
Love your videos! Although, I like Chongqing a bit more, Chengu would be my second destination to live in, if that ever happens. ¥5000 is less than $1000 Canadian. That is cheap compared to here in Toronto. Prices for a place like that would be over $3000 CAD, in Downtown maybe even $5000. Compared to the average salaries, rent can be 2/3 of monthly paycheques. By the way, Tims - Tim Hortons or Timmies, is Canadian, not American. it is Canadian national pride, so ... :D
Wonderful vlog. So sad to hear of empty units, but it is nice that the government helps younger citizens to afford. May I ask, does you parents work? Perhaps a vlog on their typical work day. Also, most inportantly.....how is your foot????😊
*I am so mesmerized.* *Kindness reaches across oceans and lands. You bring us the beauty of such successful people. A people cherished within. Thank you! From America United we may all stand.* God bless us all. God bless our universe under all heaven expands.*
You go to any European city and the tourists from a many of different nations are there. There are so many people it is crowded. But not in China. Mostly no foreigners. No tourists crowding the place. All that possible revenue stream is not there. How do malls like that stay open with no customers?
Outside it's to not get a face tan, the sun ages your skin. inside, not sure as it has a hole so it's not to be germ-free, maybe did not want to put in pant pocket
Chengdu is a world class city with affordable living expenses. Except Shanghai, Hangzhou, Beijing, Shenzhen other tier 1 cities are quite cheap. Chengdu is cheap and perfect than Colombo Sri Lanka.
Wow .. Clean & beautiful....CHINA is so advanced...when I was a kid grew up in Indonesia back in the day my parents always told us CHINA is poor but GREAT country...now everything is so modern, clean & safe, make me proud of my Chinese heritage 🇨🇳👍❤
Hey Byanca G , very good video . I can do better editing in your videos which can help you to get more engagement in your videos . Pls lmk what do you think ?
May 7, 2024 - For example, the average salary in Shanghai is around 14,000 RMB per month, while in cities like Chengdu or Xi'an, it may be closer to 8,000 RMB $8,000 RMB is worth $1,104.06 (USD) today. So, the average worker makes the equivalent of $1,104.06 per month before taxes. Now you know why an apartment goes for $600/month because MOST workers cannot afford it in Chengdu
I only see negative things on china from reddit and other social medias. How is the job industry? Are there really homeless people everywhere? Are the teens suffering? College students suffering? Im always curious about things like this. If it puts your life in danger dont respond. The outside world has a very negative opinion on china
Accurately speaking, the Western world's media has a very negative view of China. The Western world comprises only a few countries, but they control the discourse of global media.
China has made some great strides over the past 40 years or so, but not everything is as positive as the CCP would like to make it look to outsiders. For example, that was a nice looking mall, but there were very few people there on a Friday. As Chengdu has over 15 million people living there, the mall should be much more crowded on any day, especially on Friday.
@@lmcc0072 Good guess, you could describe a huge economy of 1.4 billion people as countless ghost towns. And, if you factor in the last three years of China's epidemic closure, these malls sound to you like they've been open at a loss for 4 years straight. They are now doing business like you describe, with no one patronizing them. But now the malls are acting like they're crazy and they're still going to stay open. You realize what a stupid speculation you are making. Standard working hours in China are Monday through Friday, and the time in the video, was on a Friday afternoon, and it was still working hours. There are even special assignments and situations that can happen. If you go and film those shopping malls during off hours, I guess westerners like you are going to get excited again and say, wow, there are too many people in China, it's horrible, there are queues everywhere, I don't want to go to China for the rest of my life. Please stop continuing this stupid comment. You can go to any random mall in a rural Chinese city during weekend hours and it will be busier than this. If you really care about malls in China, you should know that this kind of mall in Chengdu is basically every two kilometers on average, and malls like the one in the video are basically at the level of a mall in a 5th tier Chinese city, of which there are 9,000 if not 10,000 in the whole of China. And those more upscale and more designed brand malls are where people like to go.

1.4bn Chinese with a large middle class. No foreign tourists needed. Nice to have but not required.
Good life, obviously👍
idk much. but 700 is more than I was expecting. it is probably more in bigger cities and in many places around the world 700 is a lot.
No tv. But a beamer? Nice appartement 👍
Are there any luxury gyms in Chengdu? Would love to see a video about that
5:26 Why the cobra commander mask?
Outside it's to not get a face tan, the sun ages your skin. inside, not sure as it has a hole so it's not to be germ-free, maybe did not want to put in pant pocket
She is wearing it indoors. Why?
It's called a mini projector
The thing is depends on the city, come to Shanghai to find those prices, nowhere.
Never had anyone come with an umbrella when it rains...
Please explain the procedure to buy apartment, rules and regulations .
Cute as always ❤❤❤😊😊😊
Interesting how much more affordability there is outside of Shanghai.
Eggs is my love LOL
Beautiful city. How did you get past Winnie the Pooh's firewall?
China is good to explore.
Chengdu is a world class city with affordable living expenses. Except Shanghai, Hangzhou, Beijing, Shenzhen other tier 1 cities are quite cheap. Chengdu is cheap and perfect than Colombo Sri Lanka.
Wow ur on a wheel chair?
These clothes are just some bullshit 😂
Great video, and your interviewing skills are getting better
Nice video. Was it $5,000.oo to buy the apartment or £5,000,oo?
5000 yuan to rent ($690), it has on-site maintenance and concierge, so it is about $100 more pricier.
@@tonysofla That is cheap. Wow. have a good day.
1:40 Hong kong feng xui
looks a lot better than San Francisco, or maybe it's the videos
Your friend is very charming and cute. Nice show.
Two sweeties
Is that girl seriously wearing a mask with a hole in it? What am I watching? 😂😂

Is your friend wearing a mask with a breathing hole in the nose? 😂🤔
The mask is to protect from the sun not for infection
The gym looks so bad.
Трёшка (2 спальни) на 30том этаже. Была не меблирована.
Если б я был султан, я б имел Двух жён
И двойной красотой был бы окружён🤭🤭
你是想说投影吗? Projector
mall shops is client empty..barely you can see a foreigner walking inside the malls and everywhere..
Winky cute
I like your friend
I like her too
WHY MASK ON?????? Wtf. 😂😂
💞💞💞💞💞💞💞
What is the point of wearing a mask with the nose not filtered? It will do nothing for pollution or Health protection that way. Just curious?
Because she is a model, but didn't want to put makeup on. So it's just to hide the face lol
She’s cute and hot! Why she still wearing mask? Mask make people have acne’s .
Where are all the people.

as expected , pay more for less - Hong Kong developers 😂
Why are you sitting in a wheelchair?
Hello I think I meet both girls in Mumbai museum
Just can’t watch a video with someone wearing a mask. How foolish.
Makes her look dumb AF.
外国人
Even i know its not 100% real i still enjoy your channel. I know you cant say anything bad about china or uour life is over.
Why don’t you go to China and find out for yourself, instead of making an ass out of yourself with this assumptions 🤣😂
If you look up close, the build quality is terrible in most. Keeping it real
As real as it is. You might want to see eye doctor, what a sour grapes loser.
She can't or she will lose status in China
Which part of the building quality is terrible?
Yet people can’t afford kids 🤔
Are you kidding me 😂
WTF , do you work for the CCP ? Why don’t you make a video on 35th anniversary of The Tiananmen Square Massacre !
Why should her make that video?
what happen to your legs?
