@Tony Montaina I'm glad he resisted and didn't let them overpower him. He had every right to be there and certainly did not have to leave. Everything happens for a reason, and because he resisted and fought for his rights, this will expose these bullies who think they are so damn righteous. Proud of him!!

I thought the two people who took him down and cuffed him were horrible. Just seeing it was traumatizing. News Nation should financially support Evan in bringing this police department/sherriff/cops to answer for their behavior in court. He has every reason/right to sue!

Unfortunately, from the experiences that I've ever had, I would say that at least 80%, a police officers or people in uniform have some kind of an ego/aggression problem and are overly aggressive even to little old white grandmas like me

A free press and freedom of speech are foundational to our Constitution and to who we are as American citizens. This arrest of the reporter is abhorrent and cannot go unanswered, The charges need to be dropped and the National Guard needs to apologize AND discipline this Major. He violated the reporter's civil rights.

I felt such a sense of dread watching this video. It was wrong on every level. Evan was the professional. There was no misconduct. He was asked to leave sure, but he WASN'T the one who should have been required to leave. End of story.

Sorry to hear of this. So far I've found your reporting to be professional. I haven't followed the story closely but it certainly seems to deserve review. Speaks to certain problems within the military? However politics may divide our country we must not let that be the case for our military, especially in today's geopolitical climate. We need to get our acts together and keep them that way - spy balloons, etc. notwithstanding.

Of course there was always the option for Evan to have more respect and be quiet when asked. All I saw was Evan apparently raising his voice (couldn't hear anything for Brian's emotional reactions and dialogue) and pointing his finger in the Guard's face. I'd imagine that is considerably disorderly.
