I have been making battery packs for robot projects and never had a connection fail even though I use a similar technique to the guy in this video. The only problems I tend to get are useless BMS.
Never solder on batteries, the heat can damage them and it just looks terrible afterwards. Buy a cheap USB powered spot welding tool It'll do the job just fine.
Measure the voltage of each parallel, which is 3.6v and that is the first and the second 7.2v and so on, add up to the 10 series, the BMS cables are connected to each parallel.
3 x whatever the cells are. You need 30 amps for abike. 10 amps per cell. Never use 3 amp cells unless building a brick. Samsung 6amp or higher. Some Chinese are good
@@brianread9781 a video like this should never be shared, otherwise some may do the same, and if it goes wrong they ruin the sheets of paper that separate the poles of the lithium plates, causing a fire. Welding on batteries with the soldering iron is 'FORBIDDEN', don't say 'it works', then that's fine. This is bullshit. Only spot welding needs to be done.

His build is ok. Many in this hobby have more $$$ than sense. He had a minimum investment. Now has a 36v 10AH. At 1/3. $$$$$$$$$$$$
