Great video and my son and I blew the back tires just after breaking it in! It’s our first nitro and what a fun car! Problem I’m having is finding upgrade parts and just parts in general? Everything I find is for electric models or discontinued out of stock! Any suggestions? We don’t get crazy with it not going for air records🤣 but would love to beef it up for durability and looks!
Hello... l also wore out my tires on breakin. I call Traxxas and complained. The manual says breake in on hard flat surface and they actually send me a new pair of rear tires. I always look for parts on ebay and Amazon always seem to find what I need. These cars are very popular and shares parts with electric too. Hopefully this help you..
Hey Rc Show Off ? I just ordered a traxxas nitro rustler but I want to get the hop up's you got but when I get my rustler should I break it in stock first or with the hop up parts on it ???

Hey . I have the rustler. I just put the new TRX 2.5 back on. I have never ran s TRX 2.5. Do you have any suggestions? I i did put s 3.3 on never ran it took it off and ran a Dynamite .19 for my daughter. Now i just put the 2.5 on. I have heard that the 2.5 likes to run warm? What is your take on it? Sorry for the late answer. Yes the 2.5 does run a little hot but its a great engine with a lot of top end power . Best mod l did to keep mine cooler is getting aTRX 2.5R cooling head. This cooling head also makes the engine a little easier to tune. Thank you for the kind words.

Hello and thank you!! The zip ties on the cooling head is just to protect it from scratches and breaking fins when the car flips on the roof. The 2.5 head protector always falls off. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Hello. Pretty much all the suspension is interchangeable. Front bumper also. Everything else is the nitro platform.

The Duratrax Lockup st wheels. That what I'm running in this video. I can't remember exactly but any of the ST Duratrax offroad work very well.

Hello yes you can break it in with hop ups. All the hop up l use come stock on other models of nitro Traxxas. So you are good to go..Enjoy!

Run the Dynamite they say that motor is even better than a 3.3. I am redoing my Rustler and it has the Dynamite
