Hey, thanks again for watching !
As I already mentioned, the next big Video is going to take a lot of time again but I at least can make some shorter ones while I work on the big one.
This was a lot of fun to make, I learned a lot about the Virtual Boy and Gaming in the year 1996. It was really interesting to watch all that old footage...just sad there was no Zero-Racers anywhere.
I hope you enjoyed this, please let me know if I missed anything. I'll see 'ya next time o/

0:17 One correction I wish I didn't have to make. BS F-Zero Grand Prix 2 is still lost, the only version we have is a standalone practice ROM, and not the two ROMs used for the live broadcasts, and for some reason I don't understand, the practice rom only has 5 out of the 10 tracks in the live version. So we're actually missing about half of BS F-Zero 2 to this day.

Thanks for letting me (and everyone else) know! I appreciate it when people point out mistakes or details I missed. Helps out a lot if I need to talk about that topic in the future :)

I’ve actually played this!! In the early 2000s, when I was about 6 or 7, my mom purchased a Virtual Boy for at a yard sale for about $10-$15. This was the ONLY game I had on it. My memory is very foggy, but I remember it being extremely difficult. However, that might have also been because I wasn’t very experienced with games at the time. But the ships were very difficult to control. If I recall correctly, you had a certain amount of lives and could only fall off the track so many times. Don’t think I ever even beat a level. Just remember getting a neck cramp and a LOT of motion sickness. Would not recommend haha 😂
Thank you for making this video! I’ve been trying to figure out what this game was called for years!! Ironically, I sold it at a yard sale not long after. Zero Racers was the only game we had for the VB, and I didn’t like it very much hahaha. Thanks for reviving a memory!

Wait… it was never released? I could have sworn this was it! Maybe I’m thinking of another Virtual Boy game?

After further research, looks like I must have been playing ‘Red Alarm.’
Thanks for helping me dig that up haha, great video!

Looking at Zero Racers, I think I might have a theory to who might’ve been involved with the game. But it might be a bit too crackpot-ish on my part.
I’ll explain later when I make a video about it.

I remember seeing a magazine preview about this game under the title "G-Zero". I'm not sure if that would put it before or after the "Zero Racers" title.

I never even played the Virtual Boy nor do I feel like playing it in the future, but I'd consider Zero Racers as part of the F-Zero series since the machines/courses are staggeringly similar from the original's. Very interesting.

A year ago I was at an arcade in Indianapolis that had three AX machines, two were broken at the time, but they said they were going to fix them. The memory card slot on the working on didn't work though.
