This sound bar is small enough to fit with most computer monitors and acts as an excellent set of computer speakers. Convenient lighted volume control on the side, this sound bar also features Bluetooth so you can connect any Bluetooth-enabled device. It has a total of 6 speakers, 4 main speakers and 2 bass diaphragms so it can really get pumping pretty good.
Requires USB for power and a 3.5mm jack for sound, or a Bluetooth connection. The soundbar features a headphone pass-through port on the back, convenient if you also use a headset, it can be easily connected when needed.

One thing I like about this item and similar ones is the aux out but when you use that does it disable the sound from the speakers in the soundbar. I was hoping to get sound from the soundbar speakers and output PC sound to my stereo system without splitting at the aux out of the PC. I'm guessing I will still have to do that though? Also connecting using Bluetooth will disable sound from the PC aux out. Does this sound correct? Thanks.

Usually, the aux out doesn't disable the sound output. All of them are different, some may, some may not, I'd need to pull this from storage to test it to find out. I'd imagine it does NOT disable the speakers, this way all you have to do is turn the volume all the way down for the speakers and the aux out jack will continue to work at normal volume.
The Aux In jack and Bluetooth modes are mutually exclusive.

The problem is that when you walk away from the computer for a few hours, it shuts off, and won't come back on. I have just turned it off and on 10 times, and I hear the welcome tone, but it simply won't connect. Very frustrating. Once I turn it on, it should stay on until I turn it off.

The problem is actually with your computer, rather than with the soundbar. When you walk away from the computer for a few hours, it goes into standby or sleep mode. That cuts power on your computer to the USB ports, which power it, and that's why it shuts off. Turning it on and off hasn't worked 10 times, it's not going to work the 11th or even 56th. It's time for a new tactic, such as unplugging it and plugging it back in, and/or completely powering off your computer before doing that.

@@jaykay18 Ok, that makes sense about the computer going into standby cutting power to the USB port so the soundbar powers off. But why won't it just come back when I double-click it like it's supposed to? I have at least a half a dozen ongoing projects open at any given time and can't be rebooting my computer frequently.

@@millenniumhippie2022 For the same reason everything nowadays has a standby light when the device is OFF. It's so everything can be "soft controlled" by circuitry, rather than using an actual switch that would cost 3/4 of a cent more to make.
Some computers have an option to leave the USB ports powered when in standby or sleep mode. Sometimes it's software controlled, sometimes it's hardware controlled, and sometimes you have no control over it at all.
