I completely forgot about Bluetooth. Today, I was having a problem with only one side of this thing player from my computer. But if I plugged it into my tablet, both sides worked. Weird. After watching this video, I remembered that I could just try Bluetooth, and voila, it works. Thanks!
bro... I was looking at your video just to see how to fix mine of this... and never knew it was bluetooth till now?! this freakin speaker has been holdin out on me and makin me work OVER TIME to get it to work with the cord when all I needed to do was turn it into a freakin bluetooth speaker 😭😭
I just got this speaker... and after a little bit (using bluetooth) it seems to power off... is there a way to "wake it up" after this happens without having to unplug it and plug it back in?
My MacPro (2023) is not picking up my Nylavee SK100 speaker. So I tried plugging the speaker directly into an outlet and it isn't even turning on now. I'm not sure what is going on. It worked great with my old laptop. Suggestions????
Great review! I will probably get this. Not a crazy price and I need it for my pc monitor as those always have bad quality speakers. I like how you can also hook up so many things to it like you said. I still have an old ipod I'm excited to hook up to this lol
Just bought an SK100 and hooked it up. Crystal clear sound with good volume, running off my MacMini. One question: am I right that there is no way to beef up the bass?
I've tested a number of soundbars and they are all limited in the amount of deep bass they can produce. There might be a way to add a subwoofer but I'm not sure.
One of the features that attracted me to this soundbar was the aux out but does that cut off the sound from the speakers? I was hoping to output PC audio to my stereo system without splitting at the PC aux out.
the music sounds so metallic, I was not sure if the song or the speaker made it that way - I wish you had used a known track or even a classic segment that has all the sound spectrum in it - You see, one can get any Specs. for the unit but your advantage is to provide the sound, Many reviewers overlook this and I can't tell you how disappointing that is. I say 2 min. of specs. and 4 minutes of clear sound testing... food for thoughts.
Thank you for the input. It has always been a challenge to convey what the speakers actually sound like. I unfortunately can't play copywritten music that people would recognize. Also, when demonstrating the sound, it is colored by my microphone capturing it and the listener's speakers playing my video.
I have this speaker. How do you get it to stop making this short musical tone every so often? Drives me nuts. I have an audio-in plugged in that works. But every so often, it wants to make a short musical tone. Everything is working. But the occasionally tone is maddening when I'm trying to work in silence.
Is it connected to anything with Bluetooth? If so, I would try disconnecting it in the Bluetooth settings. I'm thinking that maybe it is trying to reconnect Bluetooth.
It might but it depends on the current conference room speaker you are using. Some are very loud and others are not. If your's is weak, this might be an improvement.
When I turn it up all of the way, I can hear faint white noise if I put my ear near the speaker. I can't hear it with the speaker under my monitor but there are louder ambient noises around. If I turn the volume knob down all the way, it is completely when held up to my ears.
This is one of the best computer speakers I have ever used. Just sounds so crisp and amazing. Whats crazy is how cheap it is but how well it works.

i just got this and the quality is absolutely terrible. Is that happening with anyone else or only me

Does a piano sound like a piano, a cello a cello, or .. say Wagner? Some of us listen to MUZICKE, not pre-amplified noise.

I cant seem to get this speaker to work except on bluetooth which is spotty. Wish I could just wire mode connect.
