Not only are they 5 very talented musicians but, also, very lovely, humble blokes.
The sets on the November tour were great - I loved every moment. You guys make very special music together and I am looking forward to listening to what you create next. Thank you ❤
Marillion will be in our history books in one way or another 👌
The first time I've experienced a Marillion gig this year. Totally blown away, had to go to the Roundhouse to see them again. Thanks guys!!
I love Marillion Monthly ❤ My favourite Band t so So good to the fans. I Always 😢laugh ❤
Great band and all great guys!!!
Marillion forever. Greetings from Lithuania!
The tour was just beautiful and the setlists incredible. I've been on a Small Faces binge too recently. Have a wonderful festive season guys and thank you for the music 🎄
Thank you for the update! It's great to see the good vibe all around. I'm very exited to see what next year brings!
The tour was Amazing
First saw Marillion in 85 at Hammy Odeon...then second time at The Roundhouse...WOW it was epic!! Beautiful show..set list, musicianship, sound and lighting & visuals....WOW
7:54 Why am i not surprised by that answer by Steve mentionning Radiohead 😉?
Guys got taste 😊
Can we have an update on H's cricket bat?
I'm worried about it after it's failed stage diving escapades at the Roundhouse.
A cricket bat is for life, not just just for the last 12 albums!
Loved seeing you guys again (Wolverhampton - it took the bloody Council long enough to sort out what is a brilliant venue again!). Particular thanks for Splintering Heart. First gig was 1987 at the NEC but that was a different life, many more between then and now. Please keep it going, it's a better way of life you know. Much love.
ive just lost my job of 17 years shattered beyond belief but this band moves me emotionally like no other plane they never been to australia yet 20 albums of sheer class
!!maravilloso escucharlos desde hace 31 años !!!!
2023 was a fantastic year as far as Marillion gigs/weekends (and h naturals) are concerned. Cant wait to hear the new stuff as mentioned here oh and love h's "any moment now" comment LMAO 🤣🤣😂😂
Fantastic. Thanks for the stories. Prog on!
Great interview. Thanks to all involved.
Always enjoy these videos
Really enjoyed that interview,thanks ❤
Beautiful interview, looking forward to the new album, sure it will be energetic ❤💥
Great interviewer!
Lovely interview
More Instrumental sections on the next Album would be nice
I had a ticket for the Roundhouse and forgot about it, I was gutted when I realised the day after, old age and memory loss sucks!!
Sad not to have made it to latest tour, 2025 seems like such a long time away. Meantime Marillion Monthly is superb ❤
Marillion 1987 w Zabrzu.
Dali panowie ognia.. Pamiętam jak dzisiaj. 🇵🇱💪
Hail Sagan⭐️...Hail Marillion🎵
Steve Rothery listens to Sufjan Stevens and Bon Iver ... so cool!!! Both of those artists are prog artists at heart, but are somehow labelled folk artists.
Please come to the USA
Nice to get a mention at 25.55
"Any day now" 😂
Pls come to Asia 🙌
MFFM
Marillion Forever Forever Marillion
Re. Mark’s comments about Slade…saw them at Reading Festival in 1980 and they rocked !
Also, Sweet were quite heavy and could be a bit proggy…they used to perform Fanfare for the Common Man.
Love his Tee...😅
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
new album hey, bring it on :)
'H' era music is so much more enjoyable than that with Fish. That's just a fact. 😮
Where can we get Jerry's t-shirt?
Now the tour is over, what was the song they hadn't played in a long time?
I thought the gig at the Roundhouse was excellent, great sound, and the Band is just keeping up an insanely high level of performance.
Choosing a set list is a tough ask, with so much material, and I thought that it was a well chosen set in terms of content and order.
I loved Steve Hogarth in the Europeans before How we live…only got into Marillion in 2011 because the early formation with Fish was castigated for being a Genesis rip off..i unfortunately believed all that and gave them a body swerve. Wish i hadn’t..done weekends abroad and at Leicester..multiple tours and gigs since 2012 at the Forum..met the band, Lucy, Yenz and back staff as well as multiple wonderful fans who do indeed do become like family ❤
Would have been really interesting to have Mike Hunter in this discussion.
He doesn’t like to do on camera interviews. Lucy has tried.
1 thumbs up is not enough 🙂!
Please make an album that doesn’t focus on modern politics/life. It would be nice to have an album where we can escape the here and now. But regardless, a great interview Jerry.
Asking H to write lyrics that aren’t reflective of his life or the world around him is like asking water to not be wet.
@@j0hnsturm I’m asking him to not give me a leftist surmon. I understand the entire entertainment industry are Marxists these days, but some restraint like not calling us “murder Machines”, which we already knew was false when this song came out. Because of lies like this, there are still some weak minded fools that believe the vaccine “stops the spread” and if you don’t take it, you’re murdering your granny.
Can we have an album where H is les verbose and more concise and tracks that aren't 20 minutes of mumbling and pts 1 through 4 but just a set of tracks like the Seasons End album.
What makes you think that the length of the songs are to do with H?
Very good just a little biatch about the H podcast is getting a bit analytical and we know its not early days
DONT..... Mention Fish 🫣
Did the unmentionable song start with a Q?
I think they are referring to Lucky Man, they played it on some of the shows, but not the one I saw. They definitely played it a bunch around STCBM, but not at all since then. Quartz was great to hear as well, another one they don't play too often
I enjoyed Quartz at the Wolverhampton show. Nice bass groove.
