I wish that flash games were still popular. How many miss NOT having to pay a billion dollars for a game, or not having to buy hundreds of dollars of DLC to be able to actually play the game. I miss flash games like stick RPG, or the strike force heroes series, although out of them all, this one really takes the top of my favorites list. Ok so im rewatching this for the like 300th time and wondered how the heck the zombie virus spread so quickly he didn't relize zombies outside or a broadcast getting sent so late because the world was like destroyed by the time he left his shop
The virus only infected the city during day 1 and the military lost control of the city during day 7.
The day that john heard the broadcast was probably around the 3-4 day mark when only portions of the city were infected so by that logic john spent around 3 days upgrading his car and only attempted to escape on day 7 when the military was at its breaking point

I've always thought the logic behind you continuing after your car blows up is that the runs are happening inside your head so you're preparing your car. Don kinda hints at that with his commentary on the upgrade screen

This dude is a fucking legend. He was able to escape the city, in a battle prepared sports car, pancaking zombies while singlehandedly defeating the entire fucking military.
This man and Gordon Freeman are the only two regular guys in gaming to have the title of "defeated the entire fucking military".

Maybe it's because of the range, or the girls he's using could be custom made, thereby, if he knows what he's doing, making it more powerful, or the minutes lost their plot armor once they jump on the car. Nostalgia at its peak. I remember playing Road of The Dead on my Dad's Laptop, my Dad wouldn't let me download anything on his laptop so all the games that I played were mostly Flash Online Games. Ah, the good old days.
That was the nice part of flash was not having to download a bunch of stuff and having to worry so much about memory space. Nowadays most people can't even play warzone because it requires a Tb+ of space to download and most consoles don't even have that 😂

Fun fact: in the 2nd game this guy drove through outposts making the military fall faster. It didn’t help that the military wasted most of their helicopters on him. This guy basically made the military fall faster then it could’ve
so, as to why you can upgrade your car after dying. It's because every time you die, it's actually just John's foresight.
He starts with a stock mustang and begins to think how long the highway is, how many wreckages he'll encounter, how much he'll be slowed down by running over infected, how many will try to cling onto his car.
So after every prediction he upgrades the car, suits up with armor and gets a handgun.
That's why when you die he then says "that's not gonna work, gotta do this and that"

well to be fair, they arent really that prepared for zombie invasions, even full kevlar armor cant stop a zombie bite, medieval armies would make much better anti-zombie armies, plus the speed of the infection is REALLY fast, so officers and generals would be constantly under pressure, tho the military IS still referred as weak in most zombie apocalypse games / movies, and i seriously think they should be more glorified / stronger

All zombie types explained:
Normal zombies: Normal human beings who have turned into zombies from the disease. Easiest to kill.
Brutes:Stronger human beings which shows some types of mutation. Harder to kill and can take more damage.
Zombie soldiers:Military personell who have became zombies after they were overrun in the checkpoints. Hardest to kill because of there helmet and bulletproof vest.
Ravagers:Named that because of there appearance. People who were murdered, devoured, then turned into zombies. You can see it because there organs are showing.
Mutants and alpha mutants:One of the strongest zombies in the road of the dead universe. Unknown how they were created, but a military personnel claimed that he saw a normal zombie tear off there skin, devour it, and thats how they were made.

Edit:I forgot to mention the alpha mutants. I am not completely sure how they are made, but they have a dark red skull to see the difference between them.
