What makes Popalong different and better than most channels, whilst bouncing off each other, you promote the hobby. It's not carbon copy's of most RC channels. Their isn't a pop-a-long copy. Keep up the top work and content. Be great to meet you some time
Please, please get a portable audio recorder, a couple of Lav mics for the two of you and a mic to interview people with. Audio is SO important for RUclips, and improving it for your "out-side-broadcasts" would be a real step-up. You seem to be in it for the long haul, so it would be a worthwhile investment. Really looking forward to your 2024 plans. 👍
Colchester has no hobby shops anymore. It crazy as i have two Rc tracks here which I haven't been to yet lol. We need more little offroad track events where people can just come along and race whatever they bring. It's all about fun at the end of the day. I find myself over the park with my MT10 on my own lol 😂
Hey guys so interesting to hear from the owners point of view of it… ( I know I’ve said this before but) you should really try do a video on SC models they just changed location to a way bigger shop and shaun is a really nice guy and would happy to do an interview
@@PopalongRC nice I’ve seen that and that was at the old shop it would be interesting to see how many you will get from the new bigger and better one … I’m popping in later actually lol
Looking forward to the lc racing stuff I like that platform, slowly trying to start up a mini z buggy club in a local hall they are a lot of fun in a small space 👍🏻👍🏻
Keep up the good work! Popalong to Kettering Model Car Club when you can. We've had a great turnout during our winter Championship thanks to the Legend Adam Burgess! 😂😂
I came across you completely by accident and you have reignited my interest in the hobby. Hopefully going to start racing in the summer if I get a nice bonus from work. What class I don’t know but I have 2 track close to me so I can go either on or off road or both lol, thanks guys you are awesome.
I hope you have a happy and healthy new year. Congratulations on reaching 10,000 subscribers. You should feel good about growing your channel. In my opinion if you want to grow your channel and racing I would suggest you find the place where kids are racing. I think the coverage of the truck or Eurotruck racing is great because it less expensive to get into. I have seen many people show up at a track and they ask about racing. Someone tells them about their touring car or buggy with the latest updates, electronics and batteries. They walk away and say that's too expensive. In my opinion tracks need to offer classes for cars or trucks that are less expensive and can be taken home and run in the street or back yard.
Your channel is awesome, always good for a laugh! And as for 1/10th Frontie racing, get a 3Racing Cero FWD Sport, only £83 direct from 3Racing. Even the Cero FWD Ultra is less than £250 at the moment....
Keep it up lads! Definitely go frontie racing, i got a mission ft and its the most fun I've had racing(even though I'm usually last)! Kettering has been mega for frontie recently if you fancy beating me😆
Great insight into what's going on at Rochester RC and all other things. I need to book in a trip there this year 👍. Fantastic content and enthusiasm guys!
Keep up the good work guys. Only found you after your Rug Racers video, frontie is definitely a class to come and try. It is some of the closest racing I have ever been involved with. The cars look realistic too, no racing blobs. And with the rule setup it's simple to be competitive once you have a setup that works. Come join! 👍👍👌
I'm slowly starting a club in Wells Somerset. Lots of small scale stuff indoors and locations close to base for bigger scale. Like u popalong to various places. Great vid guys 👍😎
I last raced RC indoor cars 40 years ago. I'm looking to get back into it but obviously everything has changed. Can you recommend a decent durable but competitive car/setup?
It would be interesting to have a TT02B class … in the same way we run TT01s Could make a great entry class for some clubs But they would struggle against a pro buggy
Racing can be cheap and popular. If race organizers had the stones to stand up to racers, they could mandate cars that are affordable. They could prohibit one-race tires, absurdly-expensive electronics and batteries, and ban the harmful chemicals. If the cars needed to race were the same ones that are fun to drive outside, in the neighborhood, racing would be accessible to the normal RC enthusiast, not some weird, expensive, exclusive, and remote activity separated from 98% of the RC public. Look at the most popular sports in the world, and see how they remain constant. They aren't reinventing the football or the pitch to meet the demands of the players. You'd lose some racers, for sure. Insecurity is a hell of a drug, and competing on a level playing field is scary. Eventually, most of them will see the benefits, and realize it can be fun to compete on merit. They might even enjoy having a few quid left in their pocket, too. And far more people could be involved.
Do you know of any permanent offroad outdoor or indoor tracks around North or West London where I can just come and drive during week days without BRCA membership?
Hi pop along, do you have an email I could contact you at. The uks oldest on road track is due to be developed upon and am trying to generate awareness and an outrage towards the council/ decision makers around this. Thanks in advance
Some 13 year old kid asked me what my aerial tube was for on my RC. Social media and online gaming has ruined our kids. They have zero understanding how things work.
Doing the channel full time? As much as I love the channel, I'd say don't do it. The only reason I say that is because then it goes from your fun hobby you can do when you want, to a job that you have to do.

Thought about it but not sure how it all works so still research what we need to do

I have found Slough which seems best suited for 8th scale but any 10th scale grass or astro tracks is what I'm looking for.
Herts nitro and stotfold but probably need BRCA for both
