I just wanna say, I have been practicing soap making for Christmas over the past 4 years with some frustration and your video guidance was among the best I’ve come across so far. You truly made the process relaxing and simple, also to mention easily successful! Thanks so much for being you!
I love how you explained everything, i felt so warm listening to you. I needed a calm presence today bc June has been rough for me. Thank you i cant wait to start my biz

Thank you so much for taking the time to record this video. This is easily one of the best soap tutorials I've watched, and I've watched a ton. This makes me feel so much more confident about getting to make cold press soaps. Thanks again for your time for making this video!
I have been watching a lot of soap making videos lately. Your video is the first one that I have come across that has explained exactly what "trace" means, the purpose of the temperatures (aids in saponification) and actually being able to see the lye getting hot. Great video and I will be watching more of your videos. Thank you!
I was so nervous about making Cold Process soaps. I have watch numerous videos about the process but I still felt uneasy but watching your video it has CALMED me ALL THE WAY. I am ready now! Melt and Pour who?! Lol
I’m so grateful for this video. I woke up with the idea of making soap 🧼 for this vendor event on Wednesday. So I’m watching the video getting motivated and pricing everything that I need to buy to start. I’m like okay this my first time making soap but it looks SOO easy. I get to the end and you say “she’s going to be ready in 4 weeks” 🥲 heart dropped!!! I’m like noooo it takes 4 whole weeks to set??? 😭😭😭😭😭
This was a great video! I would like to also suggest that you can also use a clothes steamer, and steam the top of the soap lightly to remove the soda ash. Good job mama! ❤
this video was therapeutic for me.. lol .. i just felt so relaxed watching you make this. i have been using melt and pour soap and have wanted to try cold process but am afraid of using lye . very beautiful soap. thanks for sharing and thanks for the pep talk on taking time for self. i think i will :)

I stumbled across your video. I've tried twice to do a cold process, once using a kit from Brambleberry and once by doing a recipe. both were fails. I like that you use Brambleberry. My favorite. I'm going to watch a couple more times and try again. I would like to know how you formulate a recipe. I think that's the hardest thing for me to wrap my head around. Easy to watch video. Thanks.
Por favor alguém pode colocar aqui os ingredientes, sou do Brasil aqui a formulação e com glicerina pronta ,Gostaria de aprender a fazer com essa receita com óleo por favor agradeço quem possa me enviar 😊
I know Soap Queen says temp should be 120C, but you will have better luck keeping it at emulsion or light trace easier. Most soapers aim for 100C or less, some even 72C.
Just subscribed! Love watching and listening to your video, so peaceful. I would love to start making soap, what beginner video did you watch to learn? Thanks !
Soda ash is also dependent upon the water content of the batch, and humidity of your environment. Once one is more experienced the liquid content can be reduced but it also accelerates everything - hence experience because speed is of the essence 😉😉. spraying Isopropyl Alcohol over the surface, once in the mould, will assist with ash prevention….But I actually quite like the look of Soda Ash - it enhances the theme of some soaps 😊
🤗🔥WONDERFUL!!!LOVED IT GREAT JOB,👍THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHAREING, YOU SURE KNOW HOW TO ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO MAKE SOME SOAP I REALLY ENJOYED THE VIDEO GOD BLESS AND TAKE CARE👍🙏🕊
I just found ur channel and I luv it. Can I give u a suggestion? Freeze ur water for ur lye solution any liquid ur using for ur lye freeze it solid. Add ur lye a lil at a time and u will have absolutely 0 fumes. It does heat up just the same , but u will have absolutely 0 fumes or smell at all. And one the lye is dissolved or u can wait for it to go clear and then add to oils.
I absolutely love watching your videos. So glad I scrolled through RUclips and found ya. You are motivating the hell out of me. Your soaps are absolutely stunning. Many blessings to you and yours.
I want to learn how to do this. I'm going to start getting all of my products one by one when I can afford it so I can start making my soap too. I feel like I would be really good at this and enjoy this and maybe one day I can start selling my own soap
How much lye, water, and oil did you use to make this batch? I have the same rectangle mold and I’m trying to find out how much of each ingredient I should use for my first batch!
I appreciate the detailed video, I've thought about doing CP soap, and maybe a business as well. I already have a name picked out. I would love a mentor to guide me through.
Hello Queen, I am a very new soap maker and would love the recipe. Eventually I would love to start a business with my girls, they are young but to be able to do something with them and leave for them would be great
Hi! I really enjoyed this video it is very informative, just curious since you are using lye, how long do the soaps need to be set aside to fully cure? and should they be wrapped in plastic wrap when curing? and also what is the ratio of water to lye? I recently started melt and pour soap making and I am very interested in learning about cold press, but I am not sure the measurment's I should be using when it comes to lye...Thank you!!
Hi! I’m no expert, I made my own olive oil and lye soaps (Castile) years ago. Usually the soap is safe to handle after 24 to 48 hours. But the longer they sit and dry out, the better. A lot of water is still in the soap until it’s done “curing”. 30 days is great.
Can I please have the essential oil links, where you buy your oils, and the pigment link for coloring. Thank you so much you video made me feel much better!
