His voice is obviously gospel but the life struggle of him loosing his stomach is got to do with cancer. If he didn’t get that done then he wouldn’t of broken the cycle of his family. Listen to the words where he talks about how sweet it is to come out the other side. It’s somewhere in the middle. I spends a lot of time during the day listening to his songs.
