    As a former CM myself, you hit the nail on the head man. I had very similar experiences so you're definitely not alone. Working there was a learning experience for sure with all the different personalities shall we say lol. 🙃🤪

      It’s been eye opening, so many other people some still working there feel the same way I did! I’m sorry for your experience

      It was a rude learning experience... i had never known rude two-faced people until i worked there, but in all fairness, there were many wonderful people as well

    Your channel has been a treasure trove as a Disney fan, not only for helping me make my own small world doll using your videos but also with more personal videos like these which help me understand the reality of the cast life I really dream of having one day- so thank you so so much!! 😁
    (Also I know this is really random but I also wanted to say sorry for spam liking your Instagram once- I never had a channel to say sorry up until recently but I felt I owed you an apology for that- I know how annoying it must have been now and blocking me that time was completely fair haha, no hard feelings! ✌️😂)
    Anyway, sorry for the long comment but I’ve learned so much from you, and this video especially I hope will help me make important decisions and face any challenges on my dream journey toward both being a cast member and hopefully Imagineering. Thank you again! 💛☺️

    Yeah, I was just there yesterday and cast members work really hard and are always so polite and friendly. Question: When guests leave a compliment about you, do you get any special recognition?

    • @roycealcoser
      @roycealcoser  Год назад

      Yes we used to get a certificate of sorts called a guest compliment and they are really good to have on your record when progressing forward! They are. Always fun to receive and save!!!!!

      @@roycealcoser Thank you for replying. That’s awesome. I made sure to get names of cast members that were great & gave them a compliment on the app. 💕

      It's called five keys award. I work at mermaid at dca at California. It's the best job in the world at times I also do guest control for shows like fantasmic world of color and back in 2016 when everybody wanted the mad tea party event it was like a nightclub at Disneyland there was the White rabbit DJ and there was lots of club music and there was alcoholic drinks people would literally pay other cast members 20 40 bucks to work that event I hate it now because marvel has invaded and Star wars also.

      @@roycealcoserhow do you get recognition now that’s it all through the app? If I don’t know a CM’s it says when and where, but how would they know who!

    Thanks for sharing honestly with us. I've often thought how much I'd love to work for Disney, especially as a princess, but I don't look the part. I'm petite, a little chubby and I have low vision. Cinderella, Belle and Ariel don't have nystagmus, use a long cane or look down instead of directly at guests. Oh well, only in my dreams. :)

    Yeah, I once dreamt of working at Disneyland, but quickly learned that it wasn't my dream to make under $10 an hour :D. I'm sorry that the job doesn't pay well, you all deserve way more than that.
