Funny that you say that, because Ive been hearing that lately on the construction side that many odd things are happening, tools are moving, etc!!!!!!!
Patiently waiting for the Mansion video, but I wanna ask - what in particular did you work on with it? What was your favorite piece to work with? Id love to be able to work with the popup ghost heads, or the hitch hiking ghosts.
Thank you for this! Awesome Video. It is so cool to hear about your time on this awesome attraction. What do you think will happen to the animatronics who do not get used? Destroyed, used for parts or in disney archives? Love the video. Thanks!
Thank you so much for your kind words! Animatronics that are not used either will go to Walt Disney archives, some end up in the Shops backstage - or some go home with Art Directors I’ve even seen! It just depends
I hope you're correct about most of the old animatronics being repurposed for Tiana. The concept art seems to point towards the ride being fairly AA heavy and they've shown anthropomorphic animals that would fit in well with the existing Splash ones. But it's still something a ton of people online are very concerned about. Not without reason. Disney hasn't built a ride with a substantial amount of proper animatronics in literal decades (outside of the simpler moving figures you might see in Small World, Little Mermaid or the Stormtroopers in Rise of the Resistance). Sinbad at Tokyo Disneyland is basically the last of its kind that used a substantial amount of quality AA's, and that was over 20 years ago. Outside of Japan, it's been over 30 years. These days, you're lucky to get attractions with 10-15 or so AA's at best (more often it's single digits or even none at all). Reason being that AA's are costly to maintain. They've also demolished a lot of their classic AA-heavy attractions in the past few decades too. Horizons, World of Motion, Universe of Energy, Great Movie Ride etc. I don't know if you're allowed to answer this or not, but i'm curious if you're speaking with concrete direct knowledge about what will become of Splash's AA's, or is it more of a hope/assumption? I've heard conflicting information about what they're going to do with them. Someone I trust told me last year that they would be reusing most/all of them (excluding the Brers of course), same as what you're saying. They're extremely upset that Splash is going away, but they're also surprisingly confident that Tiana should be a worthy successor. But more recently a different person on Twitter called SplashArchive has been making bold claims of the opposite, saying that the ride will be rather sparse in comparison to Splash and have far fewer AA's. For instance, they said the riverboat in the finale was being demolished and the amount of AA's there would be reduced to only 6 (Disneyland Splash's finale had 26 animatronics in comparison so that would be an enormous reduction if accurate). Albeit of the modern A1000 variety. They also made a few posts over on the wdwmagic forums claiming only about 7-8 America Sings figures at most would be reused, with the vast majority being scrapped. That said, they've said they have access to show scene renders that they promised to release online a couple weeks ago and have yet to do so as of this post. So it might be BS.
Wow that was a lot of information! Thank you for sharing that! Your thoughts and feelings as valid! I definitely agree there’s alot of misinformation out there, and I’m hopeful to everyone’s excitement to be meet for the new attraction while maintaining the core principles of Splash Mountains charm and magical appeal!
One of the things I find most fascinating about this ride is that some of the Sam and Ollie figures from American Sings were reskinned to Brer Fox and Brer Rabbit
@@roycealcoseryeah, we don’t actually know if all the Brer Fox and Brer Rabbit figures were Sam and Ollie but we do know without a doubt that the first scene with Brer Fox was originally the Sam animatronic from the beginning of America Sings and the first scene with Brer Rabbit was the Ollie figure from Act 2 of America Sings. If you look at footage of the rides, you can tell that both figures have the same exact movements. Edit: I also heard a rumor that at one point Brer Fox had the same hands as when he was Sam when Splash Mountain opened but I honestly don’t believe it.
Really cool video, great pictures and commentary! What a pleasure it must have been to work on the figures. Quick question for you, is there anything you have to do differently when you’re working on a figure with a large range of motion versus one that only moves a bit, maybe more detail in certain spots? Thanks, and again, awesome video!
Thank you for helping create one of the greatest attractions that ever existed. Modern-day Disney is a disgrace, and removing both US versions was pretty much the nail in the coffin for me. At least Tokyo Disney won't let Disney touch their version!
Thank you so much for these updates
Thank you for watching! I hope you enjoyed the video 🙏😃
Is it true there’s a ghost in there? I wonder if that “Splash fighting back” thing is true then…
Funny that you say that, because Ive been hearing that lately on the construction side that many odd things are happening, tools are moving, etc!!!!!!!
@@roycealcoser I heard about that! Isn’t there something where it feels like when you pull wires, they feel like there’s an opposing force?
Disneylands splash should have stayed the same. The original should have been kept like tower of terror
I understand your feelings, I feel the same way! lets give Tiana a chance to see what her attraction is all abut! maybe well like it?
I loved this video! You should definitely make videos in this style for other attractions!
I will make a complete series! Thank you for your feedback 😃 means a lot

Haha 😆 I did a lot! Also worked on Mansion Holiday as well! Lots of painting

As I release more videos there will be pictures 🙏🤣

I would definitely say more attention to detail and more documentation which is always nice
Wow, I love this! You should try to make vids for other parks as well!
Hello, WOW so you mean Walt dISNEY wORLD? I only wrked on a few attractions there, what do you mean like Universal? :)
Thank you so much for this. As I die hard fan this is so cool to see
Your welcome! Glad you enjoyed it!!!! Any other videos you are interested in ? Let me know
@@roycealcoser these backstage videos are awesome, it was always my dream to work on the animatronics for Splash
