It might be bittersweet saying goodbye to Splash Mountain but Tiana's Bayou Adventure looks very promising and I can't wait to head down the bayou! Can't even truly explain how sad I am that this ride is going away. I know it's "just a ride", but it was so much more than that for me. Some of my fondest memories as a child were on this ride. Everything about this ride is perfect. Characters, soundtrack, atmosphere, storytelling, everything was simply incredible. My all-time favorite amusement park ride, and I don't think it will ever be topped. I can understand why the change is being made, but Splash Mountain is such an icon in amusement park history, it just doesn't feel right being replaced

That view after the drop too, looking back on the mountain and the stump. Amazing!!! Iconic! Truly iconic! This version out of the 3 is in my opinion the best. Yeah and it had so much dark spaces, and a lousy drop off with a song "Dig A Little Deeper" song playing instead of "Almost There" or "Friends on the other side", I'd rather watch Belle's Magical World or The Little Mermaid 2, or Cinderella II Dreams Come True. At this point Disney World Imagineers should update Tiana's Bayou Adventure with more pink flamingo statues, 3 possums on a tree branch, lady butterflies and more TV screens filling the dark spaces playing stock footage from The Princess and the Frog. There should be villains like Reggie, Darnell, Two Fingers, Lawrence or maybe Dr. Facilier spirit and play "Friends on the Other Side" which I would've enjoyed more. Once I go on this ride at Disneyland and it turns out to be just as boring as Jungle Cruise ride, then I'll forget about it and go on other Disneyland rides. I'd much rather ride the awful spinning teacups than go on Tiana's Beta Adventure.

This ride was both my savior and nightmare growing up. I have epilepsy and can barely sweat. Overheating is a trigger for me so as soon as I started to feel too warm we would book the next available time for this ride so I could be cooled off and feel cooler for the rest of the day. This was my grandma's first water ride and she got the front row seat; my mom had to force her to switch seats with her because my grandma didn't know what was coming🤣. But I also remember the 3 second stop at the top of the steepest hill and looking down at the thorns, even as an older teen, thinking that the thorns would be the death of me. But there was always that tunnel underneath and that serene feeling as I took a deep breath out. As disney would say "This is a core memory" for sure.💜💜💜💜 Thank you Splash Mountain.

Just watched this after Tiana pov. The 'dead space' works in the original because it's building up tension, and the story, music and characters slowly unfold. Plus it gets slightly creepy with the music getting faster and more chaotic to the buildup of the big drop. Whoever designed Tiana just missed all that. They didn't even include the villain which would have added so much tension before the drop. It looks so disappointing.

When I found out splash mountain was closing for re-branding on the 22nd I booked a quick 3-day trip to Disney for the 18th through the 21st. I am so excited to go back to Disney after almost 9 years, so I can ride this one last time.

Glad most the animatronics were working on this run through. Great to see it recorded in such good quality for others to enjoy long after it's gone. Not a substitute for the real thing sadly, but fond memories.

you'll be forever missed. i may not had gotten the chance to ride Splash Mountain for the last time but ill still have the memories. No matter how i feel about the retheme for this, nothing can replace this classic log ride experience. This will always be one of my favorites and may you rest in peace Splash Mountain/Brier Patch
