i really love to see all the guitarist still using George's solo for this song.. that solo is already beautiful, just need to embrace it and make it your own style..
I can't even imagine the hours Sven puts in the practice room to be able to keep up with Joscho. I love everything Joscho does but I am more impressed by Sven's site now. Guess it's true, playing with people better than you makes you better! I hope they stay together for a long time. We'll all benefit.
pure joy. sigh...emotion, full control, master of tempo, clarity & timing. so much expression and space between the lines. just adorable and simply beautiful.
Actually I think this was a song from The Music Man, covered by the Beatles. But that is George’s great solo done expertly. And Paul’s vocals on it were great, as usual. One of the early Beatles best recordings for sure.
The first five chords of this number were an early guitar lesson for me. Then my teacher had to stop teaching because of leukemia. I did work out the chorus but then changed the song to the key of B and it became easy. But I am still dreaming of performing it like these guitarists.
they played this when they were kids in Hamburg and Liverpool and the legendary lead bit that Harrison wrote when he was 15 or so was so sophisticated back in a time when nobody did that sort of stuff unless they were a jazz band. The Beatles were freaks of nature.
@@richardgratton7557 Indeed it was, it was pretty well a standard in the 1950' but so many people seem to be under the illusion that popular music started in the 1960's quite sad really.
Man könnte denken George spielt damit, wenn man das Lied ohne Video hört. Till There Was You und And i love her. Beide ganz oben in der Liste der Beatles Songs bei mir.
Joscho you are relly turned to "unknown" to one of my favourite guitar players. And i'm electric guitar shred oriented... Your style... Technique.... Emotion.... All is really amazing! I wish you all the best for your career. Cheers From Italy!
Vielseitigkeit hat eben auch etwas mit Können zu tun! Und Kunst kommt nach wie vor vom Können!!! Da zwingt es mich, andächtig zu lauschen!!! That is great!👍👍👍
Awesome! Still loving the songs from this era (Written in 1950 for the musical "The Music Man" and made popular by the Beatles). A fantastic rendition - thank you Joscho! from a fan in New Zealand.
@@DevonDandy Yes, of course it was exactly! Most of the tunes I listen to are 1930's to 1940's! Especially the jazz standards! Of course now a lot of younger people haven't even heard of the Beatles! (I was never really a fan myself). Take care!
This will be one of the songs I will listen to when reminiscing the good and bad times I’m having in my youth. So soothing to my ears I can listen to it all day thank you Joscho.
You realize that The Beatles did it as a cover on Meet the Beatles album from 1964, right? The song was written by Meredith Willson in 1957 for The Music Man.
What a nice surprise to hear this performance with your trio today. I got your new Beatles tribute album recently and listen to it often - your music cheers me up and inspires me, thank you!
Beautiful playing all round & nice nod/quote to the excellent Beatles version. A particular vote for Sven Jungbeck’s rhythm playing. I LOVE Gypsy Swing style but the one irritation I do have often is that the rhythm playing is way to loud relative to the soloist’s volume. It’s perfect here.
Believe it or not, this is my favorite song I ever heard them do. Ed Sullivan show 1964 9yrs old and I was hooked. I have been a Beatle nut since. I was surprised to learn some years later this isn't a Beatles tune just something Paul brought and they made it there's. I play I only my guitar and my wife never tires of it. Great job gentleman keep em coming. ❤❤

This is so beautiful. Django never had any idea how he changed the world with two fingers.
Absolutely! I've never heard it expressed so perfectly! Thank you!
The rhythm player is enjoying himself and that is what music is all about.
I think Meredith Wilson would be thrilled. Joscho is certainly a Music Man.
One of the best guitarist
There's nothing like a good song done well by good players.
Better each time I hear it
This is the sort of song where it naturally makes the performers and listeners raise their eyebrows due to the delicate, gentle nature of the melody.
So expressive on the melody. It’s like a horn player at times.
Made my eyes misty. So great
This is just so rich and satisfying. Thank you! Especially for keeping George's part intact :)
The song was composed by Meredith Willson ( Robert Meredith Reiniger )(Mason City, 18 maggio 1902 - Santa Monica, 15 giugno 1984).
@@paolorosazzap.9471 Yes, for The Music Man. One of my favorite musicals.
Look that rhythm guitar!
What a wonderful cover from the timeless Beatles !
Joscho is an absolute phenomenon.
Ja guter musika
Stunning talent. Covers the lyrics, the tune, and lots of extras simultaneously on strings. That's wow!
Beautiful ❤ awesome musicians! Thank you!
Yep. Stunning. George would have approved. Thank you guys😊
Joachim, I love the little homage to the Beatles version with the George’s solo intact.
This is the absolute truth. You're giving the melody justice.
Each and every time I hear this tune, it goes straight to my heart. Love the guitars
Good to hear an instrumental version of this standard and a delightful performance.
This makes you feel guilty and not at the same time!! The world is unpredictable so we need this kind of vibes to remind us something better 🙏🏾
A great gypsy jazz guitar. Quoting George's solo is the best!!!
Beyond heavenly-----------------
Two of my favorite world class guitarist! Joscho Stephan, and Sven Jungbeck!! If you dont love this, you can't hear!!
