Sweet!!!! Looks exactly like one I had back in the '70s. I believe it was a "76 Hydrostream Viper with a Chrysler 120 HP engine on the back. Bought it with a blown engine about the time Chrysler went on strike, so I had to wait a year but got a brand new engine for it. Fast boat with a triple cupped stainless steel prop. Fastest I ever had it clocked was 63 mph. And if anyone is familiar with how this handles, you will know that is fast. It rides like a bucking bronco as it tries to (and does) come out of the water easily. Be safe with that boat as it is a beauty.
Nice job, l.own 3 Vipers and one V king. I recored mine with stringers. My only concern for your Viper is the gas fill is tooooooo low. Glue it shut and mount another gas fill up near your support metal above the splash well. You WILL get water in your gas at that heighth on your wing. Nice boat, be careful as they are trim sensitive !!
