Out for a nice Monday afternoon in the dog days of summer. The green algae is coming in heavy in my lake this time of year. But I can still get out and make some good passes.
Check out my other videos to see the complete restoration!

Super nice boat! And will fly.... This boat is what everybody who wants a speed boat, is looking for.... A lot of work, and time, and money..... You could have one too..... But, it takes love, sweat and effort to be able to bring one of these beauty's back to life... And I'm starting to believe that a lot of people are going back to some of these classic boats for their project.... Very nice boat and super fast for what it is..

Just added a sub. Your boat brings back memories my brother had a hydrostream and it was a blast it had a merc 300 with 3big carburetors stacks and some work done too it but I dont really know what it was 20 years ago it had a Jack plate too it was just a little scary lol I dont think there was a boat faster around it was a rocket he said it would run 115plus I know I see 100mph when I was in Italy couple times just didn't know how close we were to flipping over you really got to know how to drive a boat at those speeds. But yours looks way better I wish one day i could find one that looks as nice as yours. Hope to see more videos soon.

They're all good in their own different way.
If you're a clamp-on guy, the Carlson CVX 16 is good. The HydroStream models are super light, purposefully. You need to learn how to 'pilot' them. And the GrandSport you'll pay thru the nose IF you can find a willing seller. If you dig a hot rod sound the only of these brands would be a CVX 18 or 20 offering with V8 & an i/o.

Thanks man! Hydraulic steering rocks. Took me a while to get the hang of the walk, but I feel good with it now.
I’ve only tried a cleaver on this set up once. It ran really loose and I never got it topped out. It blew out and spun me so I put it on the shelf. I might try it agin one of these days.
I don’t have any sort of exhaust mods so it’s all coming out around the prop hub. I find I have to punch it out of the hole and spin up the motor, once it planes out I can back off.
