1:00 3rd arm to put down pressure on wobbly parts
1:18 You can squeeze a part while a tack weld is cooling to tighten up the fit
1:26 "Tack and smack"- If you tack weld a corner and there's a gap, you can smack it with a hammer to close the gap
1:38 Try to make your tack welds strong, but not too big. If they are too big, then you can't smoothly weld over them.
1:48 TIG finger XL fiberglass heat pad for handling hot parts. Get the XL one: amzn.to/3V4nzcH
2:45 Tungsten makes a great scribe
2:59 Small "center drill bits" first for accurate hole location. Big drill bits will chatter and walk around a bit.
3:20 On each weld, I try to position it the same as all the others to help increase consistency.
4:37 If you are welding up a sealed part, you should put a vent hole in it first for the air to escape while welding.
4:52 Quick way to find center-line, just get the sharpie close and run it from both sides, then split the difference
4:59 Use a scribe first instead of a center punch for increased accuracy.
5:47 Using a floating vise on the table, hand starting the center drill bit to make sure it's in the divot
6:25 Painter's tape to minimize scratches
6:33 A better way to keep the tap perpendicular to the surface is a "tapping arm" amzn.to/4c2kocq
6:39 6-flute countersinks don't chatter like 3 or 5 flutes, try them out.
7:00 DON'T use aluminum NPT plugs in aluminum parts where you'll need to unscrew them at any time. Aluminum on aluminum threads gall up and strip out really easily. Use stainless plugs instead.
It's the little things. Thanks

By reading the comments, @aerogfs seems to be the only other person that got the gest of the dice, why it doesn't have any other numbers......
6 -- 0 -- 6 -- 1
That is such a brilliant easter egg!!!!!
The pitching up of the pass audio had me rolling. 😂
Ok, glad I wasn't just imagining that.
Me to.😂😂😂
😂
Around 4:15 the neighborhood dogs started howling.
Was wondering if I was losing my damn brain. ha, nice touch
The speeding up and aligned frequency noise was just as crisp as the welds. Well done. Music to the ears.
Cool video. Now I have to do this. Thanks Aaron, you are still teaching me how to do things.
This is a wholesome project. Certainly up lifting gold.
never been this early to a 6061 vid
Ya know, been watching your videos for quite a while and I’m starting to think you definately are starting to get the hang of tig welding… 😂🤣 the dice are pretty cool
Honestly, your skills are on an entirely new level. WOW!
Your ability to always completely fill the fillets, but never erode the edges, amazes me. Are you using 4047 rod?
The Stig of Tig.
He seems to like that 3/32 rod.
love your work
Un trabajo impecable maestro,un dado de la Suerte, elevado al máximo nivel.👍🤓😜
Cool idea bro, love your vids!
Love the octave change....
Nice touch with the play speed and frequency sounds, I was waiting for a boom lol.
Looks great! ❤
I quite enjoyed the stereophonics !!!
The subtle humour, nice 😂
The fit up is 🤌
beautiful work. when marking the blue lines. what tool
where you using to hold the pen in place?
That ambient pressure equalization technique... smart man.
Nice work sir 👏 😊
The semitone octave, incredible.
Nice one!
Good job
Dear costumer support, I have an issue with those beautiful dices I bought. They always give me 6, 0, 6, 1.
The perfect roll
Do a D20 next for us nerd welders
Thank you.
Love it
High speed on welds a scale?
Cool!
I enjoyed that little musical scale :-) I guess it's obvious to most that you are musical too, ever since you played the guitar a while back. Is there any thing that you are not good at?
The stereophonics reminded me of Sound of music movie!
I only see one mistake.... The opposite sides of a die add up to 7. cool video though :)
He made a dice of hes got nothing(0) 1 and 2 6s for 6061. It's not a traditional die
@@lorencarey7161 1- A singular dice is called a DIE
2- WHAT !!! "He made a dice hes got nothing(0)" what is that supposed to mean???
3- What does any of your comment have to do with my post, a statement of fact and a compliment????
Thank you so much! Awsome skill.Have ypu ever tried plantex Tiger Skark flap wheels with Kangaru oil for aluminum! Great product!
👍
That's a good place to hide something.
Lol...can I buy a set of these from you!??
Hey look a mini-vault for your nugget of Au.
me gusta
Was wondering if it was just me hearing the pitch change lol
noice
It's a 6 from me :)
Why not machine the edges where you welded and make it smooth af
A dice for the casino.Either it will fall out, or nothing.
Они потом заржавели?
I think you have the count wrong. There should be 12 welded lines on each die. So that would make 24.
I see 4 on the top, 4 on the bottom, and 4 around. 3x4 = 12. Where do you see 24?
12 x 2?
