Amazing stuff as usual. Definitely just heard the lambda term. Also learnt alot more about troubleshooting misfires. Thanks a lot, amazing content every time 💯💯
I have a 2006 Nissan Altima where when in D and at a stop thE RPMS drop to 632ish. Once you bring the RPMS to spec around 732-750ish it goes away. I have a Autel my908 and I can’t find the test you did. 😊
Yep DPF is supported under service functions. Haven't taken the time to really check how long it lasts nor how long it takes to charge. However, in over a year of having it, the battery is yet to die on me. Formal quoted duration is around 7-8hours of battery life. I can't say it takes more than 2hrs or so to charge. If I find the actual figure, I'll update.
@@DIYAutoworksNG In one year your battery is almost dead(to quickly) , why because is chinese staff or you used so much( every day). You gone buy another tester , what brend ? Lunch x431?
Hello. The test is different on the Lexus. You will need a compression gauge to complete. The tool will just disable the injectors and command wide open throttle for more accurate estimation of compression values.
I have the XtoolD7 and I see it has the cylinder a/f ratio test. I’m trying to do my 2018 Honda Pilot. I’m not sure if it will do this car. Any help would be appreciated.
No cylinder air fuel ratio test. Just like in this video. It’s under actuation test. I’ve run it and it seems to adjust each each injector in each cylinder but doesn’t work properly. I get cylinder 1-6 fail (dense).
Difficult question. There's no one best scanner for all mechanics. Most will have a variety of scanners to take advantage of what the different brands do better. I recommend you watch my video on Autel vs XTOOL
Purchased for a 2009 impala that suspected fuel alcohol content was high and it showed it was. The bad part is this scan tool will not let me reset it. Seems slow and not near enough functions also the Bluetooth part you have to be pretty close or in the vehicle. Any suggestions on a better model scanner would be great . Thanks
Is it the fuel trims you want to reset? Just reset the ECU as you normally would to clear a code. I agree on the seeming slow bit, wired connections are faster, but I won't trade that for the freedom of taking the scan tool around to the engine to hear a sound etc. I haven't had issues with Bluetooth proximity although I haven't done experiments on range. In terms of other scanners to recommend, I can't say for now. I also have an XTOOL D7 but it's wired (faster) and doesn't have all the functions supported in the MP808TS. I could have suggested Launch, TopDon etc, but I don't really have experience with those tools.
Thanks, because in a gasoline direct injection engine, the air-fuel ratio varies by cylinder. The test can help you isolate a cylinder that is performing poorly.
That's better news. Because it's most likely the car is running rich in general, as against it being a problem in the cylinders. Do you have any codes?
What car is it? You'll need to rule out the following? 1. Bad fuel pressure regulator 2. Clogged air cleaner element 3. Worn spark plugs I did a video that could help as you review fuel trim data ruclips.net/video/O5KI0GHNX7Y/видео.html Also clean your MAF/MAP sensors if equipped.
Very helpful. Especially with regard to navigating scanner menus. Thanks!
You're welcome!
Perfect information for use with my autel mp 808!! Thank u sir!! 👊 🇨🇦

Stoichiometric ratio
Yes sir!!!! Or stoic for short. Thanks for watching.
Very Helpful. now I know what to look for. Thank you.
Glad you found it useful!

Thanks again for your time.
If one of the cylinder is misfiring,
dose that mean we've to check the injector or the spark plug?
Good places to start. Others include ignition coils etc
Thanks for sharing this great video. It is a plus ➕
A good PLUS!
A good PLUS!
Thank you so much 🇸🇩❤️🇱🇷
You're welcome
Great vid. Just a quick question, was the engine running for this test ?
I started the engine at the prompt of the tool.
Thanks for sharing 👍
You're welcome
❤ very helpful...
Thanks for the feedback!
you can do an DPF test or force regeneration(something like that) ? How long does the battery last? (maxipro mp808ts) and how long does it charge ?
Yep DPF is supported under service functions.

I think you may have missed my comment. I am saying that my battery is still good after more than a year.
DPF regen takes 40-60 mins
Confirm it works and is supported 👍
Thanks for the update
How to do compression test please share with us
Thanks. Noted.
How come I just got the maxicom mk906s pro-ts,it doesn’t have that and other functions that you showed in other videos?.
On Honda?
On a 2020 Lexus nx300
I got a 2012 civic,I’m going to se if has that function today
I don’t know if true, but I heard Maxisys is better than Maxicom
You are wonderful
You too!
Wow this is amazing I have this code currently on lexus rx350 2012 P2019B. Can I do this test for a lexus with an autel

Can you show how to check eco for car that not function right
Do you mean how to check fuel economy?

Do you mean the AF reset under special function? Honda is not supported.

This is the test Honda dealer uses to verify bad injectors in gdi engines.
Okay! Got you!
Try using a good fuel system or injector cleaner and repeat.

@@DIYAutoworksNG What I'm looking to reset is the fuel alcohol content on a e85 vehicle. It is reading 68% and have never uses e85
I see. I can say specifically. Maybe ask Autel support if the tool supports that???
amazing
Thanks, mate!
Why Cylinder AF need to be tested
Thanks, because in a gasoline direct injection engine, the air-fuel ratio varies by cylinder. The test can help you isolate a cylinder that is performing poorly.
Have one that failed all cylinders (rich). How should i proceed?
That's better news. Because it's most likely the car is running rich in general, as against it being a problem in the cylinders. Do you have any codes?
@DIYAutoworksNG Vehicle drives fine until you accelerate hard and then the CEL starts flashing amd will go into limp mode. Codes P0300-p0304.
What car is it? You'll need to rule out the following?
1. Bad fuel pressure regulator
2. Clogged air cleaner element
3. Worn spark plugs
