Welcome back to another Training for the Tour segment. All about putting. My plan is to alternate each week with one week being a match/challenge and the following week being a Training for the Tour segment
After my What's in the Bag video a lot of you asked about my putting routine and particularly the putting rail that I showed. So here you have it.
Drop a comment on what you want to see next on a Training for the Tour segment and make sure to subscribe so you don't miss an epic video next week at Cabot Citrus Farms
Here is the Malbon link for those who want it !

What about the shoes?
@@ScottWilliams-l9r if you follow that link. Go to footwear. Then the shoes I’m wearing in this video are there plus a lot of other options
Ryan, Can you do similar video for your range session? Thanks.
in 2 weeks we have a range session video explaining what I am working on currently
These videos wehre you explain your practice are great!! Could you maybe also show a typical range session and how you balance range and on course practice?
We have a range session video coming in 2 weeks! stay tuned
A drills video would be awesome 🙌
This video is really helpful, thanks Ryan! I'm curious to see your speed drills and what your thoughts are on calibrating your distances on the practice green and how it translates to the course. Some initial questions: Do you use your feet to calibrate a 10' putt for example and then base all distances from that? Is there a certain range where you just go feel only. Do you use your right hand more on lag putts for distance control?
Love this. Calibrate your putting stroke everyday against the fundamentals. Brilliant.
Have you put together the putting drills video you mentioned in this edit?
Glad you liked it! I haven’t, if there is some demand for it I will
@@RyanRuffelsGolf awesome, loving the content bud 👊
@@RyanRuffelsGolfyes please, a putting drills video would be awesome
Would be curious to see one more about green reading. I feel like my putting tempo and stroke feel correct but I just never feel confident in my line.
I can do a vid for that for sure
Great vid would love to see more in-depth and the full putting practice ect.. speed drills make drills and tec work
I was thinking I should do this. Ill film that next
Thanks for the tips. Is the pvc setup still promoting an arc putting stroke? Keep up the great videos
Another good training video, keen to see more on other aspects of the game. That Malbon gear is fresh as too!
Awesome! I’ll keep these videos coming then. Malbon always goes hard!
Putting mirror every day baby! Love this vid brov.
You already know!
Thanks Ryan!
Would be amazing if you could make a putting video about how you adjust speed for downhill/uphill putts. Curious if you have a "system" to adjust speed based on how much slope (and how to even determine "how much" slope there is) a putt has.
i struggle putting so glad to see some different technics to try
awesome!
Awesome content! Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for this I’ve used a Dave Pelz putting track and Truthboard for lots of years. I liked you mentioned not thinking too much - welp I’m still working on that 😏
A drills video would be awesome
Great content bro, even for an aussie... just joking bro. Thanks for the advice 🇳🇿
What are the lengths of PVC pipe for the legs and center shaft? Thanks
Range videos pal 👌🏼
Hey Ryan, have you ever used a center shafted putter? I'm considering buying one.
I haven't. But a lot of people love them
Hey Ryan, youre feet are aiming left a little with that missed putt?
Me: I suck at putting!
Also me: I don’t practice even 1/10 of what Ryan does
Which tempo should I use???? Jk, good video!
16/8 if you wanna copy me ;) haha
