Pitching and short irons Ryan!! 💥🤌🏼
This video is a gem. Precise & straightforward explanations through each shot. Would love to learn more about practice schedule & structures, block practices & putting drills in future videos.
Thanks, Ryan!
Maybe like in depth day in the life vlog? I can do that
You couldn't post this video before my round this morning? Haha. I needed these tips today. Excellent video as always!
Hahahah! Sorry about the timing. But hopefully you’re ready to go for the next time you play
Literally need to write down these 3 different basic chips on a notecard for the bag!!!👍👍👍
Nice, love the dead hand idea. I get super wristy, sometimes its needed but can be super unpredictable with how it can come off the clubface.
Simple way to hit most chips!
Love these tips! Would love to see a full bunker practice session.
Great idea!
This is great! Really needed that insight into lie and what the percentage play/ stroke is. Thank you Ryan!
Thinks he's chipsmen. 🤣 Great video!
Last name is Ruffels of course I’m a chipsmen #haveridges
@@RyanRuffelsGolf that bunker technique alone deserves a Ruffles sponsorship
Awesome tips Ryan.. thanks ! And wow those bunker shots !💪👍
Glad you like them!
Great video Ryan. How about pitching from 100 to 30 yards, that would be great 👍
Great idea
A+ work to whoever edited the video. Clean simple text and great flow
I have a great team that helps me with that !
Love this!! Love to see what kinda shots you hit with your driver with the same concept as this video!
Coming soon!
@@RyanRuffelsGolf Love it brotha!!
Great stuff Ryan, thanks. Could you also extend my congratulations to your sister Gabriel on her performances this year on the LPGA. Great start to the year. Pulling for you both to have a good year!
Yes I can
Brilliant tips for us high handicap golfers Ruffy. Must be easier to practice when it is always sunny not the weather we here back home in country Victoria
The weather doesn’t hurt that’s for sure! But I miss the sandbelt!
Awesome content, I’ll be watching through this one several more times and taking notes. Thank you!
My pleasure!
Love these videos. I would love to see you make a video on the difference between chipping and pitching. Like I know the difference, but would love to hear from you on how you would play a 5 yards off the green to 20 to 30, all the way to like 80 yards and in.
I can definitely do something like this
Used your tips today and worked out great mate! Thanks Ruff!
Great to hear!
You the man Ryan
Thank you Ryan, great video
Great content in this one. A vid on the takeaway into the backswing would be awesome too. I can't quite understand how to hinge correctly and how much.
Great suggestion!
Interesting bunker tips will give them a go
Let me know how it goes !
Great tips, especially the first 4 mins. Would love to hear more about how to practice controlling the low point in chipping. I’m not consistent with this even when I think my setup is. Cheers !
I was thinking of opening up my cameo to more personalized tips if people are interested!
MALBON GANG
Represent!
Great content, add in a little about how to get out of plugged lies and hard sand
I can certainly do this
Awesome video
Brilliant content. Lets see how you control speed when putting. Lag putting especially
Putting video coming next week! Just mechanics but will do a speed one soon too
Thanks Ryan
Seen you before on RS channel at the JCB course. Look forward to hearing your thoughts and suggestions for the game of golf. Subscribed.
Thanks! Good video to save for practice!
Glad it was helpful!
This was awesome.
However, when I clicked this video, I 100% expected Ryan to just meme that all shots around the green can be putts.
Hahahahahah! This is a good comment. I don’t disagree 🤫🤫
Such a great video.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Really enjoy your content. I'd like to see more on the deep grass shots from multiple distances. Off the fairway with 200 still to go and so on. Which club should I use and how to play it. Thanks RR
Will do
Gotta get a 1v1 with Gabby on here! Good tips btw, will practice
You’re 100% right. We have to do that
Great video Ryan! Question - how do you bunker shots out greenside bunkers with minimal sand (sandbelt bunkers) and get them to stop?
Can you please talk about different shots to play chipping when ball is below/above your feet or uphill/downhill lies. I am a really good chipper when its flat but I feel like I don't have much control when its something like an uphill lie and I am afraid of chunking it.
That’s a good video idea!
Love the video but what about ball position ?
Varies shot to shot of course. But I can do a video explaining that too!
My putting is better than my chipping and pitching I guess I got work to do lol
i heard you say in a previous video you talked about lie angles and when they are flatter you can release it as hard as you want can you share some thoughts on releasing the club atm my driver is low launch low spin spin loft too low thanks RuffDogg
Are you wondering about releasing the club in regards to full swing ?
@@RyanRuffelsGolf yes i get too much shaft lean with driver and it just knuckles
What club for the basic shot? Like a 54?
Do you like to carry a low bounce 58 or 60* being in FL?
High bounce in FL. 11°. Everywhere else I use 8°
Ryan what bounce do you want to have on your wedge if you like to open it up?
I use the either the TW grind with 11 bounce on grain, or the LB grind with 8 bounce everywhere else. It’s more about what type of grind is on the wedge more than the bounce number when it comes to opening it up
Thanks Ryan! Great content
Your basic shot, is it fair to say it's a chip'n'run technique and you can use it with a 7 iron or even a 56 depending on the situation?
Almost a chip and run technique. Difference between the basic shot and the bump and run is shaft lean and loft. But both can be used with any club and will work!
