  • Welcome back to the channel guys. Introducing a new series I’m going to call Training for the Tour. As you know my background is as a professional golfer so as much as there will be matches, challenges and more produced videos. I want to make sure I provide more of an “uncut” experience of some of the things I do as I work my way towards making it to the PGA Tour. These are going to include training day vlogs, club fittings, lessons with my coach and sessions in the gym. My goal with these is to give more of a genuine and raw insight into my day to day life as a professional golfer.
Episode 1 here I go to the Kingdom with professional club fitter Eero Niemela. We talk through the specifics of what I want to see out of my clubs in 2024. If you’re a golf nerd, you’ll love this one!

That fitter used to absolutely send it off some massive drops as a pro snowboarder years ago. Legend

Sorry that Carlsbad didn't provide its normal beautiful weather, but great to see the new clubs. Best of luck with them!

Great video, and really interesting about the driver head from LS to core. A lot of the reviews I've seen have said the LS is too low on the spin for most people and the ball just drops out of the sky, yet most RUclipsrs just assume they need an 8 degree LS model anyway. Excited to follow your journey this year

Fujikure speeder pro was a great shaft. Heavier (75g?) but so controllable and smooth. Took me years to find a suitable replacement and I kept going back to it. Finally I found one recently, the HZRDUS BLUE RDX is a great counterbalance shaft. Lighter but same level of kick point and stiffness. Tough to make changes after you are so used to something.

Getting fit at TM in full NIKE gear, priceless. Going to have to get fit for Sun Day Red gear now.

I use that same Fuji speeder tour spec shaft. 74 xs I’ve had two over the last 9-10 years or so. Absolutely love them. But trying to work in tour ad di to the driver just cause can’t get the speeder anymore

The idea of a lighter head weight in the lob wedge is not too crazy. Ive heard that Bubba Watson has tried it quite a bit, with the main idea being that since its lighter, less force is transferred to the ball meaning more control is in your hands with how hard you swing and you van make faster swings without it flying too far

It would have been nice and I may have missed it, if you had shared the final specs of your driver. Also, looked like an Accra shaft which model did you go with?

Sick this is mate - maybe silly question, I assume you're sponsored by Taylormade, do you have contractual obligations other than just playing their gear?
