USA might become a giant in Cricket. They have all the money, resources, etc. They just need fans and viewership, the minute they smell money, it will grow.

If we can get all the NRI's in the US to support, it will grow immensely

@@danceoffAsh Most already do. They miss seeing Cricket in the States, several of my friends and family would love for Cricket to grow in the US.
Cricket can only grow from here, not to mention it being played in the 2028 Olympics.

@@June-w5b It's just a matter of time then. What I would like to see is naturalized citizens playing to generate genuine local interest. Too many Indians and ex Indians playing in the teams at the moment.

What if one day MLC can offer more money to superstar players, do you think they will leave IPL?

A BCCI clause prevents active Indian players ( who haven't officially retired from international cricket) from playing in overseas leagues. One thing that can happen is that they can renounce their Indian citizenship to become a US national, which has already been happening in other industries.

It's unlikely that many players would renounce their Indian citizenship just to play in MLC. The Indian Premier League (IPL) offers not only significant financial rewards but also immense popularity and recognition within India. Plus, the national pride and opportunity to represent India in international cricket hold immense value for many players. However, if MLC continues to grow and offers substantial incentives, we might see retired players or those on the fringes considering it as an option.

some might, India actually has too many players in cricket, But I'd say If MLC started to grow and earn money, aussie, brit, Caribbean and pakistan players would be happier
