    • @saman_pradhan
      @saman_pradhan Месяц назад +6

      All the ICC approved stadiums in USA are cricket specific stadiums only. And MLC teams are gonna build new stadiums in these cities soon.

    • @rangergaming8316
      @rangergaming8316 Месяц назад +6

      That'll happen. USA already has two such stadiums in Texas and Florida. Each MLC is required to have a stadium of their own in a few years so we'll see at least 5 more new stadiums built and that number could go up to 9 because 4 new teams will be added in the next few years.

There's many Afghan refugees and a large population of south asians. But the only problem is that UK is no longer part of EU. So here's how it should go:

    I really don't see it becoming that big in the US. America has a history of having intense, yet fleeting hype for things. We very rarely deviate from the norm. I'm sure we'll still have a strong presence because the country has such a large talent pool and if we decide to compete, we'll have a good showing but, it won't be well marketed and the audience for it in the States will be limited. Any regional league will be on life support.
    It's about the same as baseball becoming big in Europe. There was some decent showings in the world baseball classic and it definitely sparked interest in the game abroad but it's fleeting.

    Cricket was meant to be elites pass time and now has evolved into a common man sports and evolved from 5day to 1day to 3hour
    But old and traditional fans will hate t20 format and more league's taking over cricket but it's for good
    Average employee working time 9 to 5
    Students college and school time 9 to 5
    Most of odi and test match are at day time when everyone is at work or college school
    T20 format world cup and t20league is future of cricket and is only format that can take cricket global to new heights
    Just like football more league's once 4years a world cup by next 15years t20 world cup will be main and popular and competitive world cup it's undoubtedly the future like it or not
    It is
    Cricket vs other sports
    Not
    T20 vs ODI , TEST
    Or
    League's vs international
    And still someone comments back bro but test and ODI is emotion and it's real cricket or flavour or fever
    Sorry future has been given it's verdict t20 world cup and league's are future
    And i can't comment to someone old like grandfather's generation and traditional cricket fans who don't see reality but narrow minded people Sorry
    I can speak to who can understand real situation
    Not
    To emotional senseless narrow mindset fool😮‍💨

When people learn some players are paid over 100k in MLC they’ll start learning to play. We already have enough fans to maintain the MLC long term. It showed there’s plenty of fans that’ll watch, they just need to provide the cricket. It’s really cool knowing we have 2 pro cricket leagues in North America. With MLC and GT20. Also MLC is list A which is great. Us, and Canada will be the next full member nations.

    Great video! Just a couple of points. It's always a bit disheartening to see a story on the history of USA cricket without a mention of Bart King, especially since you talked about the rise of Philadelphia cricket.
    I wish if you had mentioned the American born players like Steven Taylor, Jasdeep Singh and Aaron Jones. Taylor has been a major part of the rise of the modern US cricket team, and it's a shame we're achieving this success in the twilight of his career, but so it is with pioneers, I'm afraid.
    Also, you neglected to mention the importance of the West Indian community in the rise of the modern game from the 1960s to the early 2000s. My league in the US Northeast was 95% Caribbean immigrants as late as 25 years ago. It is now made up of about 75% Indians (mostly) and others from the subcontinent.

    Did I miss it? Funny that your video makes no mention of India, Australia and England, the bastions of today’s cricket world. Nor any mention of the IPL and BCCI.
    Though Australia might be the best, India is the nation where the sport is most popular. The sport practically is like a religion here, where people eat, sleep, and breathe cricket their entire lives. Most of the revenue that the sport generates today comes from India, and due to the Indian Premier League (IPL), the sport has gained global popularity and the competition now competes with other giant sporting events like the Premier League, the NBA, and the NFL.
    In terms of the ICC Trophies won, India ranks second having won 2 ICC ODI World Cups in the year 1983 and 2011. It was in 1983 when an underdog Indian Team lifted the trophy at Lord’s against the mighty West Indies. After this World Cup victory, the popularity of the sport spread like a wildfire in the entire country and inspired many future legends to take up the sport. One of these legends was a player who would later go on to become the God of Cricket, Sachin Tendulkar, the greatest batsman ever. He set innumerable records and became the highest run scorer ever, the player with the most centuries in history, the player with the most matches played, and so many more. He was followed by a barrage of greats like the King, Virat Kohli, the Indian Team’s most successful captain MS Dhoni, and the current captain, Rohit Sharma.

    no it never will be, first thing the is cricket bigges fan base in different timezone to USA, second USA team is bunch of players from other countries who are playing cricket already, there is no cricket played in collage, domestic or anywhere else in USA, third there are no resources and proper grounds..... I can list more but it is far from reality, at least now. There is no way USA would care to adopt Cricket, when even football (soccer) failed to do it, which has more reasons to be a easily adoptable game. Cricket is complex, country like Japan would show some interest in such sports, I don't think USA ever will be interested in it... because they already have some
