- For this weekend’s adventure I team up with a great friend of mine as we head out towards Central Washington in search of dry forecasts and exploring new areas. Through our journey we came across incredible campsite views, wildlife, abandoned homesteads, and plenty of miles of offroad trails!

Eastern slope of the Cascades is hard to beat for me. Sections 3 and 4 of the WABDR are pretty stunning.
So many things to comment on! I Think I saw you cooking? And sitting by a real fire?? But the best thing by far is that amazing series of waterfalls through the canyon. Beautiful job capturing a stunning area
Haha I know, it’s like a whole new channel with cooking and wood fires! Who knows what 2022 will bring! 😉

Nice video, I love going through Duffy Creek and Douglas Creek we are frequent flyers there, it is our backyard. We did a video on that area about a month ago, again nice job on showing the beauty of the high plateau.

Those little waterfalls at the second camp were so cool. That definitely looked like a great camp spot.
Definitely made for an interesting feature at a place that felt like the middle of nowhere! Wonderful camp nonetheless, especially that time of year!

I've seen handfuls of Douglas Ck summer trips where people go to swim in the creek. I've never seen a winter trip there. Pretty amazing that it looked that good while it was so cold and snowy on the Western side.

Dang, I'll have to add this onto the bucket list for come spring! I usually go west from Wenatchee into the mountains but this shows that I definitely need to get out into the central areas more!

Central, WA outside of Wenatchee. Definitely brings a whole new element weather wise especially with the wind but definitely a fun area to explore!

That is great area. Was going to hit it up a few weeks ago but didn’t get a chance to. Will be heading there sometime soon. Hopefully there will be some deeper snow by then.
Definitely put it on the list to do, incredible area and very few crowds this time of year. I'm sure the snow will be a lot of fun to drive in on your future visit!
That chorizo sucks!! ;-). It's mostly oil and so crumbly. If you can try the Johnsonville brand (or if you can find a carniceria) it's really good!! Chorizo is a must have when camping/overlanding for sure.

Near the Palisades? Between Wenatchee and the Palisades.
Done the trails in that area a few times.
To get rid of your sqeek you can spray W-D40 on the springs where the springs touch each other
Oh I’ve tried… soon as it rains the gift of squeaks comes right back. Suppose it’s the badge of honor until we’re ready for the next set of springs 👍

Does your propane fire put out much heat?
Am I seeing things or is your seat different than the stock tacoma seat? I noticed you used to have a seat cushion as well. Care to share some insight? I'm looking into some options to make my tacoma seat better or find a replacement.
I simply removed the lower seat behind the passenger as a half-way "seat delete" to better accommodate the fridge on that side. I also have various storage bags from Last US Bag that are hanging from the headrests as well.
Wow, how are you getting 305 miles to empty. I fill up and I’m at 255-265 on skinny 33s
Haha, don't trust what that says. The estimator is filled with empty promises... I find that it quickly goes down as compared to the actual miles driven.
