Good review but with how fast it trickles I have serious doubts that it actually filters out anything. Also the always open spout is an invitation for bugs to get in.

Any idea how to fix the slow filter issue? It was working quickly at the beginning but now less than a month it the water is taking forever to get filtered. I’m using the Brita 18 cup container & the Brita Elite filter

Instruction #1 on mine is "Hand wash pitcher lid and reservoir". With what? Surely not the same tap water you are trying to distill?

Our city water doesn't taste or smell good at all. My Brita makes the water taste great. No flavor and no smell.

This is not a good product. If you can’t fill the entire pitcher with filtered water, you’re basically wasting 1/2 half of the pitcher?
