  • LINK: amzn.to/2ur1w3T Hi Guys, today I’m reviewing the Brita Large 10 Cup Stream Filter as You Pour 10 Water Pitcher. LINK to Filters: amzn.to/2WnPLad It comes in a few different colors. Generally with water pitchers, you fill water up top and wait for the water to run through the filter and collect into the pitcher. You can only pour water into your glass after all the water has collected into the pitcher. This pitcher lets you fill water and pour it into your glass without waiting. The pitcher is BPA free and holds 10 cups or 80 ounces of water. It measure 9.5 inches tall by 9 inches across. It is slim so it should fit in your fridge. One filter is included with the pitcher. Brita recommends changing the filter every 2 months or 40 gallons. This filter reduces chlorine taste and odor. What’s filtered depends on the model of Brita Pitcher you buy. For example the Standard pitcher reduces mercury, cadmium, zinc and copper while this stream reduces chlorine taste and odor. There is an electronic filter indicator on the lid marked 100%, 25% and 0% to let you know when it is time to change the filter. Press the status button to check the filter life. The light should blink after water is poured from the pitcher. After changing filter, reset button. Press this button to open and fill water.
Run the filter under water for 15 seconds, put it in the holder and close the lid. Fill water up to top of pitcher. Close lid, hold front and back, hear two clicks.
Remove the filter and Hand wash the pitcher in warm soapy water, don’t put it in the dishwasher.
I hope you liked this review. Please subscribe and I’ll see you next time. Thanks for watching :)

Fantastic demo. Very thorough and helpful tips as well. This is not my favorite Brita so I’ll have to check out other options. Thanks much!

Best if you can get filtered water out of your refrigerator. I use mine heavily but I also prefilter from the basement with an HDX (Home Depot) filter. Current and somewhat older fridges go well beyond the Oder spectrum to include pharmaceuticals. As far as filters go do allot of research on price and manufacture, it can vary wildly look for certifications on no-name filters. Deals to be obtained as long as you research. I bring this up due to issues with our water here in the U.S. in recent years and that has caused the price of filters to sky rocket not due to complexity but rather demand. I have found very good deals on unopened and sealed filters on Ebay. Quarter the cost of buying them on Amazon or other. This is one of those 100% research products.

Yes, the filtered water from your fridge is very convenient - no filling up pitchers often 😀

Is the spout on top always open? Or does it have a way to close it or seal it to keep water fresh? Thanks

Good review, wish I’d watched it before buying, What a joke. It only “filters” the chlorine “taste and odor?” That’s more money than I should’ve spent on this. 🤦‍♀️

37 seconds in and I know all I need to. The Stream filters don't really do anything but slightly improve the taste of the water. Stick with the original. I could never get the longer lasting filters to work beyond the initial pour. They just stopped letting water through.

Might be dumb question but if I take off lid fill water and then put back on lid is it just as good for filtering or do you have to go through the filter

Hi, the water goes through the filter only when you pour. It doesn’t matter whether you fill with lid or without 😁

I have never been a fan of these Brita water filter pitchers. They don't filter the water good enough for me. I think I have just gotten to use to bottled water. I got a brand new Brita not this model, and feel sick after drinking the water from it.

Someone on Amazon said the filters last 8 months lied must be a brita stock holder but 2 months is better then the standard filter I have fine water this should work OK

Thank you 🙏 very much for this review. I’ve tried two filter jugs in the past, in which the filter sits low in the jug, therefore is constantly and fully immersed. After being stored in the jug for a few hours the water, to me, tastes tainted and from the first fill. I’d be interested to know whether the same applies with this.

bought a stream filter because it was only a dollar but no pitcher. Will it work if I pour water directly into the filter?
