Great job! That’s a cool idea, the chips in the resin. Do yourself a favor though and replace your steel hone with a ceramic one. 👍

Lol...would have never thought of doing ram chip scales. Maybe some metal savings? I'm not the most creative guy when it comes to stuff like that. My strength lies in my obsessive desire constantly make each knife better. Always amazes me to see people like you make a knife and everything is so purposeful and organized. When I make a knife it's like a tornado went through my shop and some how a knife was spit out the bottom of the funnel. Another good video look forward to the next one.

Metal shavings would be cool! And I'm sure you will slowly become more and more organized as you make each knife. Thanks for watching

Cool idea with the ram chips. Maybe a functional circuit using some solar cell, blue or green leds, attiny85 chip , appropriately sized super capacitors together with photoresistor. Program the attiny85 to simply turn on the leds when it detects darkness. Or just use glow in the dark scales.

Wow I like the fact you used memory chips for your scales. It look wonderful. The knife blade is a little thin. The knife reminds me of a kitchen knifes. I know how much that pattern steel cost. It kinda can get a little expensive. I bushcraft and need a little more steel to hold up and not bend to easily. I've got a couple knifes that bended on me and it's almost impossible to get the bends out. Thanks for sharing your video with us know faces on RUclips. Your great at teaching us some new tricks on making knifes.

I have seen makers use mechanical wrist watches inside parts cast in epoxy as scales. Maybe you can simply collect gold connecter pins from computers or pc cables and utilize them for epoxy scales.

That was a great job with that blade. Turned out looking really good. Have you ever tried using a metal honeycomb in epoxy? That comes out freakin awesome on a knife. Especially with the metallic deep blue colors and turquoise colors. I think a deep red with gold flakes would look great as well.
