- In todays video i use Alabama Damascus Steel to make a #Knife. The scales are made from old Pc Ram with brass liners and cast in #Totalboat epoxy. If you have any questions please feel free to ask in the comments or dm me on Instagram.

Very cool idea! I'll have to try that aswell 😁👍
Great video as always 👌
Thank you Njord!
Great job! That’s a cool idea, the chips in the resin. Do yourself a favor though and replace your steel hone with a ceramic one. 👍
Thanks Denis! I will have to check that out
What happens if I fill an AMD chip? 😄
I think it would look awesome!
Lol...would have never thought of doing ram chip scales. Maybe some metal savings? I'm not the most creative guy when it comes to stuff like that. My strength lies in my obsessive desire constantly make each knife better. Always amazes me to see people like you make a knife and everything is so purposeful and organized. When I make a knife it's like a tornado went through my shop and some how a knife was spit out the bottom of the funnel. Another good video look forward to the next one.
Metal shavings would be cool! And I'm sure you will slowly become more and more organized as you make each knife. Thanks for watching
Beautiful knife, great skills friend 👍!
Thank You!
how about some little green army men in epoxy on a m7 bayonet style blade? =P
oh man that would be unique for sure! i like the idea!
Beautiful knife thank you! 👍👍👍
Linus’s tech tips getting real quiet
😂😂😂
I don't wanna sounds creepy but a black knife with some (fake?) blood drops and epoxy would be dope ! Amazing job as always
hmmm that would be cool as like a rambo knife or something. and thank you Clement
6:30 I thought you were going to drink the coffee and throw away the knife... Just kidding, thanks for the great video! You won a new subscriber 👍👍👍
lol Thank you Frederick!
if you suddenly move smoothly just check your waist if someone installed a ram on you
lol
Ah man epoxy some chicken wing bones in your knife handle. Great video!
hahah that would be awesome!
For things you could cast you could try wood shavings I reckon that would look awsome
Yeah that would look cool!
On a serious note, remember those lollipops at gift shops that had a dead scorpion stuck in the middle. Something like that and throw some rose petals in
Oh Yeah i have actually seen a knife maker put bugs in his knives. they are badass!
I would really like to see book paper micarta handles
Yeah that would be cool!
Try to use copper wires from cables in random pattern
That would be very cool!
My laptop needs more RAM so I want this knife LOL
Lol i will probably make it available on my instagram soon.
@Wengelsworkshop, how much for one of these knives? i really want one and I would to like buy my friends in it.
For things to cast... Banksia pods are cool I just did those. Cholla cactus, pinecones, pine needles, really anything from nature looks good casted on a hunting knife
Thanks for the Ideas!
Awesome 👍 appreciate your work Sir 👏
Thank you Eric!
When the PC vs Console argument gets heated -
Yooo lmao never thought of that
Clean lines, sleek looks. Very cool knife!
Thank you Andrew!
This is really sick, great way to be creative!
Thanks Sean!
This is super cool. I really like how it turned out. Great video!
Thank you Erick!
A real beauty 👍👍
Thank you Zy!
Coffee Edge? What does that do?
Just like the acid etch it make the contrast on the damascus greater
Amazing 👍👍👍
Thank you Sucipto!
Very cool knife 👍👍
Thank you Darrell!
So cool, love this handle
Thanks Banana!
This came out amazing!!! Awesome work!
Thank you Total Boat!
Do u sell ur knife too ??
Thanks for the interest. I do sell them. I have a set of 5 hunting knives and this knife will be available beginning of September. I will post them on my Instagram.
Tennessee Damascus?
Alabama damascus. it is the company that makes it.
job excellent
Thank you Nicolas!
Cool idea with the ram chips. Maybe a functional circuit using some solar cell, blue or green leds, attiny85 chip , appropriately sized super capacitors together with photoresistor. Program the attiny85 to simply turn on the leds when it detects darkness. Or just use glow in the dark scales.
Working LEDs would be awesome. Sounds like you have experience with them. Thanks for watching
Wow I like the fact you used memory chips for your scales. It look wonderful. The knife blade is a little thin. The knife reminds me of a kitchen knifes. I know how much that pattern steel cost. It kinda can get a little expensive. I bushcraft and need a little more steel to hold up and not bend to easily. I've got a couple knifes that bended on me and it's almost impossible to get the bends out. Thanks for sharing your video with us know faces on RUclips. Your great at teaching us some new tricks on making knifes.
Thank you Val!
The PC Ram Scales is a nice touch!
Thanks Larry!
@@Wengelsworkshop Here's an idea. maybe carving out words or a name in thin wood or so. then casting that in resin for the handles.
I have seen makers use mechanical wrist watches inside parts cast in epoxy as scales. Maybe you can simply collect gold connecter pins from computers or pc cables and utilize them for epoxy scales.
Yeah that would be awesome Harry! i have some stuff i could use too. Thanks for watching!
That was a great job with that blade. Turned out looking really good. Have you ever tried using a metal honeycomb in epoxy? That comes out freakin awesome on a knife. Especially with the metallic deep blue colors and turquoise colors. I think a deep red with gold flakes would look great as well.
Thanks! i have not tried the honey comb but i have seen them and they look awesome!
Awesome knive 👋🏽
Keep going
Thank you! hope you find you left hand lol
@@Wengelsworkshop 😂 I will build one
Looks great. You did a good job keeping bubbles out of the scales
Thanks Anthony!
Awesome !
Thanks Juan!
