Dude your knife is wicked! Really neat outside the box thinking with the handle scales. I loved your new edit techniques that you employed in the vfd shot with the camera pan!
Oh man amazing design. The use of the 9mm casings is completely original. The copper just makes that Damascus just jump off that knife. Great job man. Truly impressed.
Its crazy to see you using those heads off of blazer rounds. There is a very real chance I could have played a part in making those cases. Over the past 8 years I have made millions of brass and aluminum centerfire cases. Great knife and thanks for sharing the build with us. Its a beauty.
First I have to say,it looks like you and I and a couple more ppl don’t have a water jet. You working with files to do your work isn’t seen much anymore. Those scales add so much and the blade is so Knice. Great build brother.
“The 9mm Bowie” Watching from Scotland, wow what an AWSOME build, for me it’s got to be a full tang knife, love the overall shape, the Damascus pattern & that’s a one of a kind handle. Thanks for the upload👍🔥 will watch the other uploads of the comp in due time Brau!
I've watched several- but not all of the challenges. Yours is the first I've seen without forging and the first with a full tang. Before I vote, were there any requirements/parameters for the competition?
I’ve seen this video over and over yes I kept up with the challenge when it was going so how much did you sell the Bowie for and if you haven’t how much is it and did you make a sheath for it and if you did and sold it than how much would one cost me meaning Bowie and sheath
Thank you for the interest, however the it is a one off piece that is already sold. And yes i did make a sheath for it. I post available knives on instagram.
@@Wengelsworkshop I don't disagree with that at all and you make some AMAZING knives ! The bullet scales just are for me but you aint building the knife for me so my opinion dont mean JACK ,lol ! Keep up the great work !
Dope video! Show the balance point of the knife in future vids please. I would have voted for u had I not waited too long to vote. When I see Damascus in quotes, I think its fake BudK "Damascus". When people see a work of art, some are compelled to reproduce it or be inspired by it
Beautiful, unique knife there. But I'm kind of shocked you're using damascus which you didn't make yourself. Maybe I'm just a noob who don't know anything but this knife, as great as it is, seems like an automatic no-win-possible entry to me. I mean, other craftsmen in this comp have made their very own damascus and I just don't see how this one has a chance.
Yeah I am fairly new to knife making so I don't have the tools to forge Damascus, however quite a few knife makers didn't forge their blades. And it is super common for knife makers to use Damascus they didn't make. I think people tend to think of knife making like forged in fire when in reality probably 90% knife makers mostly do stock removal ( no forging). anyways I would say thanks for watching and vote how you want but the voting was over weeks ago
I am busy going through all the competitors' build. I think this competion is very good and hope to see more. Your knife looks fantastic. I was sceptical in the beginning about the handle but I thinks the brass compliments the damascus on the blade. Job well done sir.
Hey Guys; going to post this in all the videos. Have to say lived these builds & was a HARD choice since we only get 1 vote. Would be better to have a 1, 2, and 3 choices since many channels have fewer subs but did great builds. That way there could be a bit more of an average top choices & determination of top 5 kind of challenge. @Tyrell Knifeworks got my vote but @Green Beetle, @Red Bears Ops, @Wengels Workshop were all right there at great builds for a 2 or 3 place fight.
Hi Probably only makers know, how long took the whole cartridge preparation 😂. Awesome design Man! I absolutely love the blade shape (agresive, "fast", slim)! I have a though that can interested you: wouldn't be awesome to make similar scales (with cartridge) but with non transparent epoxy? You would have to grind off the resin to pop out the cartridge but with red epoxy it could look like "Iron Man" blade! In Poland guns are forbidden, so I cant make it, but It would be cool to see such a project on your channel:)! +1 sub from me Man! Regards David
Thank you DB! I love the idea of iron man inspired scales. I think I would prop the bullets up higher and pour the resin even with the tops bc Im pretty sure I would grind some of the markings off the casings otherwise. But this would be super cool.
@@Wengelsworkshop Maybe covering the markings with plasticine would work (on the other hand, this is a nightmare to make)... OR You could superglued bullets to PE plate (the resin doesn't stick to it) and than pour the resin. I've try to make small containters from 2mm thick PE plates. Works good- it's relatively easy to ripped off

Some makers are stock removal guys and some makers do the forge process. Comparing this to a pre shaped, pre heat treated, pre drilled knife kit makes you a little slow eh?
