NECA Atomic Shin made me realized just how good we had it with them. They were like the only US Godzilla figures that actually had an atomic repaint. I don't think Bandai America even had a Godzilla figure that had blue fins. So it's cool that NECA gave that option even though it was short lived. I also perfer the enlongated head sculpt for this Shin as it really makes it look like he's leaning in to shoot his laser. And that jaw sculpt is wicked!
I hallowed it out to add lights into it and the body itself is actually pretty translucent! So if done correctly you can make the body and dorsal plates light up
I do think a translucent version would have been cool (like burning Godzilla 1995). No matter what anyone says about Bandi...their "SHMA Awakening" is beautiful and one of the absolute favorite in my collection. One think I do like that NECA did was allow you to use the beams with no stands. That and over the years, the metal rod is still perfectly straight, whereas Ive had to heat and bend the MA straight again.
That was always a personal hope… especially since I missed both the MMS repaints that used a translucent purple vinyl figure as the base lol It would’ve been cool to see at some point! Especially in comparison to just painted purple parts.
The re-issue was actually my first Godzilla figure so I'm quite biased in its favor, but wow I am so glad I got the reissue. Maybe it's just the lighting but that paint on the original release looks... yikes Still has some of the same Neca Shin issues but I feel a lot more forgiving with this one than I do with the standard version. But that's probably thanks to that bias I mentioned before.
Great figure to start out with, NECA cleaned it up something fierce! The original… yeah, I’m not sure why it’s so uneven. But it is and… as you said, yikes. Wasn’t expecting to go into this one thinking I’d end up loving either one of these figures, so a positive experience all around! I only wish the standard version looked as great as the atomic breath version did lol
This is definitely a figure that exists. It's definitely a thing that was out there. It definitely was an attempt. Very good. edit: he said the thing, thank you
This figure hurts even more if you look at the solicitation photos. The paintwork on the spines of the prototype are so, SO much better than what we got. Also, the beams are not bendy wire, but they have those same holes as bendy wire because of the metal pin they inserted into the beam effects. You need those holes because, when inserting the metal pin, the air inside the beams need to go somewhere or else they will resist the metal pin.
I’m happy with the SHMA Night Combat version, but definitely interested to see what, if anything, Hiya does. Never going to say no to having more Shin figures.
Great Review^^ I totally forgot that this Figure existed lol...xD But yeah ain't feeling this one Chief. But hey at least it ain't priced at like 150 bucks or Something like that.
I’m fairly sure that the pupils are actually accurate, seeing as this figure seems to be recreating the Operation Yashiori scene, seeing as it has the tail beam. Godzilla doesn’t use his nictitating membrane in that scene AFAIK.
Is there going to be SHMA Shin Goji (4th Night Combat ver) review? The figure being molded in a translucent red with black paint on it seems to be great.
Unless Hiya makes a Shin Godzilla figure, that’s likely the only heavily articulated Shin Godzilla I’d end up buying anytime soon. SHMA and Shin just don’t seem to mix the way I hoped they would in time.

Yeah and it's not that pricey too unlike shma

Do you have a page? I’d love to take a look at it !

How is your channel not blowing up bruh
the neck thingy in the reissue looks very interesting, maybe the way to go was purple with black paint on top how you mentioned 🤔

Shin Godzilla's atomic breath excites me when he expels it🔥🔥
About one of the very few moments in Godzilla history that can be exciting, horrifying, and depressing all at the same time.
Very peak

It….did what it was meant to do. One better than the other, sure. Both equally just… you know.
Dude I've had my Box Version unopened since release. WOW it's WAY better painted than the clamshell version. 😱🤯
The atomic blast (original and reissue) were the only necas I passed on, shin 1st version was way cooler just not the reissue
Don’t blame ya, the unveiling of this figure wasn’t exactly… massive lol exciting (personally) but yeah, came and went pretty quick.
The 1962 godzilla 3D legends bust is 55% right now, 90 bux at BBTS, I ordered one right away, 62 is my fav, 84 being 2nd
DAYUM, nice haircut man, you lookin spicy 😳
Thanks fam!
Been feelin pretty good about the new follicle arrangement, think I’m gonna keep it for a bit!
I can only think of cotton candy when i see this figure.
And now that’s the prime association… that and Stewart’s Grape Soda.
Now I want both

Now I'm craving some yogurt now
How do I put the tail on on the first one?

Cool beans
Beans do be cool, unless they’re baked.
@@ShinRobjira the baked ones get cool if you leave them out to long
No live stream this time???
Nah not this week, I’ve yet to recover from Thanksgiving lol Back normal.. ish, next week.
@@ShinRobjira omg, I completely forgot about thanksgiving
Anyone know where I can get the reissue?
The atomic blast version looks more detailed than the normal shin godzilla. Atomic blast head is okay. But the normal version. I don't like it
Hi shin robjira
Ayo!
“Who are you talking to?” “No-one” tryna be slick huh
I hate the weird tail with the ball joint sti king out, it just looks awful
