This is wildest neca goji ever. Looks good at some areas but then he doesn't and he got the floppiest tail ever. However, a lot of time has passed and this, along with the mms bandai, are still the only Shin figures that I own and I could kinda appreciate that it will be the most detailed, painted, and articulated Shin figure I'll ever own. Not the greatest Goji figure ever but effort was definitely put into it.
That’s his biggest quality. You don’t need to pay much, you don’t get the BEST, but you don’t exactly get the worst either. It’s middle ground. Now.. if Hiya were to ever bless us with a Shin Godzilla…

Yeah I remember the initial Facebook complaint fest that followed. And after the whole 84/85 debacle, I guess NECA wanted to abide, which, hey! Cool! Appreciate it. But it was a disservice. Entirely.

It's such a weird coincidence how after watching this video the double ball joint for the neck of my Neca Shin, which was the first edition, snapped in half. I'll get a new one.

Thank goodness my Books A Million had the OG Shin Godzilla, I bought that figure along with the Godzilla 1954, tho during that time, the packaging was still the original before the box packaging
I bought a SHMA Shin godzilla fourth night combat ver. Recently from Amazon, and it was just a Neca shin Godzilla painted orange. Paid 149 bucks for that lol😅 But luckily, Amazon gave me a full refund tho, so not a total loss.

Tbh it is no better and when I had this figure I thought it was one of the worst Neca figures and I sold it but I hope Hiya does one someday

Commenting late but I had to let this masterpiece simmer in my Watch Later till it got my utmost early morning attention. That being said, wow the original's paint job is museum quality! Here I am unsuccessfully hunting the box release for several years. Who knew this masterpiece clamshell version existed all along. Now I need both plus Reactor Glow to fully complete the Neca collection. Gonna have to get em quick too cause once Hiya so much as tweets about Shin, I'm absolutely done with Neca 😂😭
You know what, the NECA isn't half bad. I think the body sculpt and paint app are good. Its just the face and broken tail.

I like that there's more red on the re-issue. I'm wanting to repaint mine to be more red because, I don't know I might have the first issue since he isn't as red.
