Wesayso is a company in the dinosaurs show who Earl Sinclair works for if the company that pretty much owns everything in the dinosaur universe and what caused their demise by cutting down all the trees and releasing nuclear bombs AKA volcanoes to try to fix the Earth

The Fernhill Mug is from the episode "Life in the Faust Lane." Earl watches a bunch of rich people live good lives on the TV, and is convinced that owning an expensive mug from the Fernhill Mint will make him happy, but as the Sinclairs are depicted as a financially struggling family in the show, he can't afford it. The next logical step is, obviously, to make a deal with the devil to get the mug. Earl's whole life begins to revolve around the mug, he dedicates an insane amount of his money to keeping the mug safe and secure, which causes him to alienate his family and friends to the point where Fran takes the kids and moves out. After some alone time with the mug, Earl realises that it isn't making him happy, so the devil comes back to claim Earl's soul, because he has nothing left to live for. However, as he's packing up the mug to take with him to tell as a reminder of his greed, he notices that he can return the mug if he is unsatisfied with his purchase as long as a week has not passed since he got it. Earl uses this loophole to get his soul back from the devil, and time is reset to the moment where Earl initially sold his soul for the mug.

WE SAY SO is a reference to an energy production company within the show! What a cool little detail on the box!

WESAYSO builds amusement parks, produces food, practically runs the media, and under the leadership of B.P. Richfield, their cider poppy task force ends up starting a nuclear winter by dropping nukes in every volcano on the planet to create rain clouds, because the poison they put down to eradicate the cider poppies killed every single plant, after the company built a wax fruit factory on the breeding grounds of beetles which used to control the growth of said poppies. At the end of the final episode where all of this goes down, as the ice age sets in, B.P. mentions how profits have skyrocketed due to the cold, because people are buying so many WESAYSO logs, heaters, blankets and hot cocoa mixes.
In essence, they own everything and probably also control the government of Pangea.
I used to watch this show when I was a baby… so, NOSTALGIC…

NECA has some sci-fi tech where they can shrink down T.V. and Movie characters into figure sized replicas with eerie accuracy. I collect their Gargoyles and Mirage Comic TMNT line and it's crazy that they also have articulation and don't cost Hot Toys level prices. Their cartoon and creatures tend to be spot on, human characters are "closeish" enough most times.
It's really wild. Compared to other brands they should certainly cost more, but I'm thankful they don't!
This show used to interest me but also creep me out, they had bizarre humor at times and I remember thinking it was a dark, depressing world they lived in as a kid 😅

My biggest gripe with the Earl, is they didn’t include the cigar!!!!!! It was in product shots, and even showed in the accessories that it was included. That’s what that odd “reaching” hand was for.
The sculptor told me the teaching hand was for the TV remote. I would have been incredibly surprised to see the cigar make the cut. ABC would never let that go like Disney with the cigar and Krusty the Clown with Super7

I love the show. As a kid I was confused how the Sinclair family were different species of dinosaurs. I did go with it after i questioned it. Now thinking about it again that's strange. The only answer I can think of is Earls wife Fran Sinclair was stepping out on him. Earl was too dumb to realize it.

I noticed that the eye positions for the two head sculpts are swapped from the promo images. The side eye should be on the closed mouth and the straight-ahead eyes should be on the open mouth. My open mouth head has the right eye printed very far to the right, so he looks a bit cross eyed.

@@NostalgiaUnboxed There was a rare ABC promo that showed Earl and Jack Arnold from The Wonder Years being very angry and yelling albeit they could have used Carl Winslow as well! Coming soon Family Matters Ultimates from NECA! Steve Urkel, Urkel Bot, Carl Winslow and Waldo Faldo in wave 1 LOL! Just kidding. In actuality there was a real custom made (Robo Nerd) Urkel Bot from 2020 and was a very limited release, you can't find it now anywhere online lord knows I've tried. 12 interchangible parts and 8 points of articulation. The asking price at the time was a mere $350. 🤖🦾🤓💵

Yeah you are 100% right the blanket on the high chair was to hide the cables and hydraulics that controlled the baby, im not 100% sure but weird thing, The show was dubbed, they filmed everything then the VA's had to match their voices to the mouth flaps.
Also with Ed...they gave him a captains hat that was in like 3 episodes...Wheres his hard hat he wore in majority of the episodes?

If you want the eyes to be glossier, try some Testors Model-paint sealant; it really works! Also, the "spatula" is actually a wooden spoon, and it was one of Baby's favorite tools to wack Daddy with. And I totally agree; if we can't get a full 'Family Matters' toy-line, we'd at least settle for a Steve Urkle! C'mon, NECA! =D
