The absolute PERFECT song to start with Metallicas library. Go to the Black album next then go backwards in time from there. It’s the best way to ease people into the greatness of Metallica and show how talented and versatile they are starting this way. 🤙🏻
💯💯😎
May I recommend "One" , Orion and Dyers Eve. Loved watching you discover something I grew up with. In all reality any Metallica song is a good one, the ones written by Cliff Burton are almost perfect.
Wellcome to the deepest rabbit hole in all music….Metallica 🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘🤘. You have at least 60 bangers ahead of you🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘🤘. The lyrics, instrumentation, above and beyond transitions and the range they cover are unmatched. To this day they still sell out arenas / stadiums worldwide faster than you can sell drinking water in a desert 🔥🔥🔥. Members today and since 2003; Lars Ulrich ( drums), James Hetfield ( rhytm guitar, vocals), Kirk Hammett ( lead guitar) and Rob Trujillo ( bass). Start with lyric versions and then see live reactions. They kill it live🔥🔥🔥🔥
We’re sooo excited to be down this rabbit hole!🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🎉🎉🎉🔥🔥🔥
There are so many good songs! Yes they are on your now. Fade to black live in Munich is real good. Creeping death live in Moscow. 1.6 million people at this show
Definitely putting these on the list!🙌🏽
If you liked this you really need to react the The Unforgiven!! It has those peaks and valleys as well! It's an A-M-A-Z-I-N-G song! If you don't react to it you're really missing out!!!!!!
A unique song/performance of theirs, I highly recommend No Leaf Clover from S&M live 1999 in Berkeley.
The song was specially written to be performed with the San Francisco Symphony and it's conductor, the legendary Micheal Kamen (RIP)
I recommend the live performances in Moscow 1991 of Enter Sandman and Creeping Death… Also live Seattle 1989 Master Of Puppets!!! If you want Metallica check these out for sure… I’ve seen them 4 times in my life first time in 1986 and last time in 2000.
I spent over 40 years in and out of studios and every time I see a mixer desk it makes my heart race. Hats off to the drum tech for maintaining one of the best drum sounds ever.
Next: Master of Puppets, Disposable Heroes, Dyers Eve, The Unforgiven - LYRICS
Getting a lot of requests for Master of Puppets, will have to check it out 🙌🏽
Don't forget Sanitarium
Orion is a beautiful instrumental.
You can always hear Bob Rock's production style in the drums. Those crisp and bassy drums are the tell. He also produced Motley Crue's Dr. Feelgood album where you can hear those same bass drums and splashy snare. He's had a lifetime of success as a producer for a reason.
On this album they wanted drums that sounded like a it was being played in a stadium or concert so when they recorded the album they put plywood on all the walls in the studio to give the drums that hard hitting sound. And ya Metallica will take you on a musical journey with both the instruments and the lyrics. They are still going and have been around 41 years
Yes Metallica are still around today, they sell out every show they do.
Id recommend a reaction to
"One" music video
"For Whom the Bell Tolls" (Live) [Cliff 'Em All]
"No Leaf Clover" S&M2
Thank you so much! One has been recommended a few times!🔥
theres metal in all of us.....thank god
4:00 i have never seen someone who is new to metallica and been so accurate about lars.
Ayyy!!🎉
Master of Puppets, Battery, Ride The Lightning, For Whom the Bell Tolls, Creeping Death, One, Shortest Straw, Hit The Lights, Orion, Blackened to name a few!
Metallica in its more normal form:: Watch the concert LIVE IN MOSCOW 1991......over a million and a half in the crowd; Song title is Enter Sandman. A must see.
Very nice band, I think there’s still a few good songs to discover with them….maybe “one” , “fade to black” ,”master of puppets” , “ for whom the bells tolls” and take it from there to some live shows.
You have to watch “Enter Sandman”, Live in Moscow - MOST EPIC STAGE ENTRANCE EVER!
Welcome to Metal, your journey has just begun
Greatest band in history!
By the way, the drummer is a kind of the founder of metallica. Together with James Hatfield. But yes, Hell of a drummer! Every musician is a kind of special .
One! That joint is bananas and it’s deep af! Loved this reaction.
For whom the bell tolls by them ..
Completely different kind of vibe but a damn good song.
The next Metallica song to Hear would be Enter Sandman Live from Moscow. They had over 1.6 Millon People. at that concert. You really get The Rock Essence that they Give out!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Amen 🙏
First time I’ve heard them too! Thanks guys!
Yay that’s so cool !
Nice of you to notice the drums! They tried to make the recording room as echoy as possible with wood and plain walls to give it that "big" sound!
Orion into to live is to die and then soflty into dyers eve!!! Metallica fans will both enjoy AND laugh
AC/DC, Five Finger Death Punch, Seether, Disturbed, Godsmack 🤘🤘🤘
Fun Fact: Lars's drum kit was stolen when they were living in NY back in the day. The drum company Tama sent Lars a full kit for free. All they asked was that he doesnt cover the name on the drums. Tama wasnt well known at the time, neither was Lars or Metallica. Now.. every drummer and their brother wants Tama drums because they have "that Metallica sound". Tama and Lars are still in business today.
listen to fade to black !!! there first "ballad" in many fans eyes or ears
I recomend the song "one " and I recommend the song by ac/DC called "thunderstruck " I promise you will like both songs
Check out Don't Tread on Me next for shore
For Whom the Bell Tolls is 🔥 friends, also Creeping Death is another banger..blessings to you and yours 🤟
Excellent guys. Great song to start off with. That's what Metallica are, not necessarily as quiet, but every song takes time and has it's own journey. This is their quietest song.
Check out these 2 live performances. Live in Moscow 1991-- "Creeping Death" and "Enter Sandman".
Vid clips of "Enter Sandman" will give you a story, " One" is actually based on a true story but fiercely powerful to watch. But there's plenty to watch and review.
May I recommend the band
🔥TOOL🔥
Need to react enter sandman live, best performance of all time
If you think Lars is being a patient drummer you should check out Steven Adler on the Guns'N''Roses "Patience" video!
Well if you want a journey try The four horsemen, Fade to Black or One!
Metallica (Symphony) No Leaf clover S&M2 which is kinda heavy metal/symphony
Mama said would be Metallica country
love Mama said

Amigos vean la versión de mon laferte una maravilla dicha por Metallica en chile sin nada eléctrico puro acústico e instrumentos andinos de latino América una joya
@The Cottons Metallica Does Tons of Symphony music, deep multi meaning music, country ,movie productions, slow, hard rock, metal ,etc so its hard to guess what You will like as they perform almost everything
Really? That’s super dope! I would love to hear country and symphony
what does everyone else like for the Metallica Symphony songs???
I would say, to answer your question of if there still around. Metallica has just celebrated 40 years. Before you go done the Metallica rabbit hole, check out Metallica and Miley Cyrus on Howard Stern doing Nothing Else Matters in 2021. Also, Metallica's iconic Master of Puppets album has been selected for induction into the Library of Congress' National Recording Registry. Every year, the Registry selects 25 recordings that are “culturally, historically or aesthetically significant” that are at least 10 years old for preservation. The first for a Metal band. They are also part of the Billion dollar club. Meaning sales of records, merch, and ticket sales. It's nice to know to they have played on all 7 continents, plus 120+ million albums sold. Thanks for your appreciation for this music so far.
Nice thank you for this comment! And we definitely appreciate this music, so excited to hear more!
Creeping Death live in Moscow
May i recommend you guys listen to Nirvana "You Know Your Right". Btw love your channel ❤
thank you!
Seek and Destroy live
Can you tell me what plantet are you from so as Nevers to have listened to Nothings Else Mather ?
That would be the Tama starcast performer bubinga wood.
Metallica are metal legends. They are regarded as "thrash metal" but, personally, I try to avoid labelling music. Technically, the tempo of this song would be regarded as a waltz. See how difficult it is to put music into a category? It's what it makes you feel that's important, nothing else matters🤣
Check out
Songbird by fleet wood Mac
Here without you-3 doors down
It’s been awhile by staind
Someday- nickeleback
Will definitely put these on the list thank you🙌🏽
I gotta say, I'm not mad that y'all chose this song to start. It might be better to ease y'all into Metallica. Don't get it twisted metallica is all too happy to bang your head. Y'all will see. Soon enough and I'm here for it haha. Time to sub. Can't wait to see more.
The best bit of advice you will ever receive is...react to some TOOL. Not only will it completely blow your mind and seriously make you question why you haven't got them on your play list, but it will get you tens of thousands of views quicker than you can say 'please subscribe'...the TOOL army are nothing if not loyal! :) "The Pot" is a good starting point, even "46 + 2" will start the addiction. Great reaction guys!
Since you are just starting. Any and all of the black album will be a nice intro to Metallica. Then the 1991 concert in russia-creeping death can be a good one from then. Really is no bad song from them… imo?! Just hit the sub button. Enjoy guys. Dan north fl -4/07/22👍😎
Thank you for the support! And so excited to dig in more!🙌🏽
@@TheCottons ur welcome.and glad i found you. I wanted to add-:i just saw Metallica again .my 6 th time. In sept of last yr.2021.saw them 5 times bk in -‘94-95. And after all this time they still kick it! Im told that 1.6 million ppl were at the concert in Russia..’91. Idk bout that, but it had to be close. Anyway.soo glad young ppl are still finding great music from bk then. Im about 66 yrs old.. and it makes me smile to see you all react to music ive bn lovin for soo long. Ur off to a great start guys. Keep them commin and ill spread the word bout ur chann. Til the next time.. dan, from northern fl likes what im hearing. 4/07/22
When you listen to "One", listen to the recording, Not the video!, and NEVER do a reaction, to a live version of a song, first!
Words to live by....
Metallica Creeping Death live Moscow 1991
Greatest concert I ever went to was Metallica when this album came out despite being puked on by a random girl walking past me lol
You guys should check out the song: One, Turn The Page, as well as Enter Sandman. Whatever you guys do don't I repeat Don't check out the the TRAVESTY that is the HORRIBlE version of this song covered by miley cyrus.
Remember when songs had intros?
Well that's not true really. Comparing Metallica to today's pop isn't an equivalency as they never had radio play on their day either (their songs were 'too long for commercial radio')
In other words, not much has changed. If you want good art, don't fall for industrially created products like pop and 'popular' playlists.
Theres som still plenty of music that changes a lot throughout the song.
If you would like to react to an artist you might not have heard of, I recommend Aesthetic Perfection with Bark at the Moon
Interesting. We’ll put them on the list!🙌🏽
You all about the journey? Check out Tool.
Thanks!🙌🏽
Just wanted you guys to know next Saturday is Selena's birthday. April 16th.
Yes! I think we’re gonna go Live. We’ll let everyone know!
@@TheCottons sweeeet!
boy they're going to be in for a rude awakening when they see what Metallica really is
