As most of you already know my local Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, Dollar General or Walmart stores are my own personal adult playgrounds. I shop at these stores to find food that is generally highly processed, full of fillers and simply bad for us to eat regularly! Meat, vegetables, canned food, frozen food, refrigerated food, boxed food, vegan food, vegetarian food and all sorts of prepared foods, if it's cheap and questionable I will do a taste test and food review on it! I also show you these foods are no bargain like these discount stores and manufacturers lead you to believe. I do this to show you that fresh foods are not only healthier, but they're also cheaper than these so called bargain foods. So far I haven't gotten sick, but some of these foods are certainly questionable and have come close to making me sick.

Sausage patty burning is an indication of just how much sugar they added to it. Ten sausage patties at Aldi is around 2.50 and a dozen eggs are 59 cents. Bread is 85 cents and their generic kraft American cheese, which is just as good, is 2.69. That's .25 + .06 + .10 + .15 + ten minutes = 56 cents a sandwich without all those added ingredients.

CanadianGuy Yep, I can't remember when I have eaten out last. If I don't feel like cooking, I have some standbys, namely PBJ and Bean Tacos. Last meal I made was cast iron skillet fried chicken wings and homemade potato salad, which made three meals for less than six bucks.

Richard Gray Yeah, that place is packed the first week of the month with the ones who manage their EBT's well. The savings are incredible. Walmart has everyone is this town believing they are the lowest on everything everyday. It's not even close.

Breakfast for me is 2 pieces of toast with a cheese slice and tomato. It's what I've had almost every morning for the last 4 years.

I ate the sausage one. It's amaaaaazing. People will nit pick anything... We expect miracles for hardly any money. The bread does come out a bit chewy and a tad tough on the edges. But hey it was yummy to me. I felt it was worth the money, it's just one of those things you gotta try to see if you like it. I approve and will be buying again.
The Wolfe Pit plates not being microwaveable is a pretty big oversight. :(

We, The People, appreciate Your noble sacrifice in doing these reviews. I, A Person, would love to have a quality frozen breakfast sandwich or breakfast burrito for lazy mornings, but I have never found one at any price range.
Nor have I! But for a decent almost all read food breakfast try some of the Jimmy Dean Breakfast bowls, frozen and refrigerated. They're great for pre-made! Thanks for watching!

Amazingly bad, the chicken is fine but the waffle is stale and dry and that maple syrup taste like a sugar free version of maple syrup.
I'm not talking about the frozen one. If you make the chicken and waffles yourself from scratch its great.

The part where you took the maple butter off and put it back in the center of the waffle instead of all crooked off to the side where it was was so satisfying in a strange way!
The cup of noodles has a water line around the inside of the cup, so fill the hottest possible water up to that line. put a saucer on top of the cup and let it sit for at least 15 minutes. you may remove all of those little pieces of dried vegetables and simply add your own finely cut up fresh vegies and then after the noodles have set and absorbed all the water, there will still be water in the cup, add your choice of meat and your own flavor of sauce and pour into bowl and top with a few green onions, it will look better and taste better. Make cheap into something that looks home made.
2:10 I realize this video was made 4 years ago. Since then, microwaved bread has turned out quite well for you since then.

Walmart also uses crumbs from it's ice cream drumstick cones as the topping for the drumstick itself. Not peanuts, they use cone crumbs. I would not be surprised one bit if they used toaster crumbs to coat that chicken patty.

You should always microwave bread for 8 seconds with a cup that has 2/6th of an ounce of water. Then, you sprinkle exactly 4 drops on the bread, 1 drop in each corner, and then microwave for 6.57 seconds.

To keep the bread from getting hard or chewy,cook on the defrost setting.This method goes for everything, reheating pizza,burgers and more.For a slice of pizza for example,it usually takes 5 minutes to heat on the defrost setting.Just experiment with heating times on the defrost setting.Hope this helps.🐝
