AC/DC Live At River Plate was recorded in Buenos Aires in December 2009 when nearly 200,000 fans (over 3 sold-out nights) thunderously welcomed AC/DC back after a 13-year absence from Argentina
And a mosh pit isn’t a fight. It’s a way to let out aggression to music. Rule number one is safety. No fists or elbows, if someone goes down they get helped up.
What lame ass concerts did you go to for that? Safety? LOL ...Thats not a mosh pit. Fists, elbows, feet, and blood. A real mosh pit is dangerous and every man for themselves.
@@heathcliff8624 You wrong!!! Number one rule for mosh pits is safety!!!!
Any mosh pit with elbows, fists and blood, is a mosh pit for heathens. Crowd surfing is a staple of any rock concert as well. No experience like either of those. Also buy a guitar and just start playing, get a couple lessons to learn how to hold it and play it properly, let tabs, YT and most importantly your imagination and ears do the rest. You can pick up a decent starter for $200-300 , and a decent practice/home amp for $100 or so, depending on what you want to play.
True story i saw a mosh pit at a Travis Scott show
@@johanregalado69 i got kicked in the back in a mosh pit, bruise took weeks to heal hahaha (goodtimes!)
It was originally written by Angus Young after his plane was struck by lightning on a trip sa and he showed his brother Malcolm this guitar riff tug that he had thought of after he was safe on the ground and Malcolm thought about it he had the perfect rhythm to go long with it and that was how the song came to life.
As someone who was in the crowd AT this concert at River Plate, it does my heart good to see you young folks appreciating good rock n roll. Peace.
I love seeing you young one's loving AC/DC, Brian always wears his cap on & off stage, please find some clips with Bon Scott so u can see the early yrs , ps I love your energy 🤘🇭🇲
what a fun couple of young people . so refreshing. rock on you two. good job
Good to see someone who has fun, enjoys the music and appreciates it for what it is.good to see young people noticing and keeping great music alive. ROCK ON!!!
i guess technically that is a "noose" but its hanging from the bell used for hells bells and brian puts his foot in the loop of it and swings from it at the beginning of that song
Brian is from Newcastle in England and always wears the hat. It was actually Bon Scott who recommended him to the band after seeing him sing and he said "if ever I am not around he would be a good replacement. "
So true mate so true went to the same school as his Daughter and met him a couple of times
He is such a Geordie Legend
Crowd estimates at over 100,000 at the time. Insane. Argentine audiences the greatest rock audiences on earth.
Went down to TEXAS, yeah TEXAS and we had some fun! I’m a Texan. Send me some love.
Fellow Texan...who has been lucky enough to see them 3 times. I am 62 years old and still love AC/DC!!
@@larryd4352 I'm not from Texas but I'm 66 years old and I definitely still into AC/DC.
I'm not from Texas but I'm 66 years old and I definitely still into AC/DC from London.
@@Isleofskye you are the second person I've heard from that is from another country. That's cool. I live in a small town called Hanford in the state of California, USA. About 20 miles from the city of Fresno.
Thanks Joe . I was born in May,1954 so I am really 66 years old but I copied the wording of the other Guy for effect :)
I lived for my first 29 years in the heart of South East London and went to California in the Summer of 79. Ventura/Lake Tahoe nearby, SF and LA and Disneyland at Anaheim. Spent 7 weeks in Canada /USA. It was wonderful. In 1983 I took the traditional route of most native Londoners out to The Outer London Suburbs so I am only 1/2 mile from the edge of my beloved S E London but in THe Suburbs near The Countryside, as well. Good Luck , my friend..:)
It is cool to see young people watching AC/DC and getting into it, I am 52 and this music was brand new when I was in my teens and twenty's, and we reacted the same as you are now, AC/DC are rock gods.
I agree, I’m 55 and I love seeing these kids, I can’t believe they’ve never seen it before, it’s so funny, I love to see them they love them right away
grew up on ac/dc awesome band great video keep up the good work
This song is the title track for the Thunderstruck album that came out in 1991.. Bon Scott passes away in 1980. You can say AC/DC has a Christmas song on that album called “Mistress for Christmas”
1980 was a sad year for music to lose both Bon Scott and John Lennon. Legends both of them . They are both missed very much.
God! Look at that mass of humanity
You know you GOATs when you pull this many Tix. Legendary shit! So glad you beautiful young people appreciate this music. I smiled! If not for your generation listening, this great music may die.
I love watching young people enjoying music I grew up on!! Keep checking out 70's rock, you won't be sorry!!
Great reaction guys! Keep them coming! The Jack from this concert is one of the highlights of the show! Check it out, crazy audience participation. Love to see your reaction! 🤟
Y'all just need to watch the video, no interruptions, THEN comment. Y'all need the full experience!!! Btw, y'all are an adorable couple!!!
ACDC is an Australian band 200 million albums
In 41 years of their career, AC/DC sold over 200 million albums worldwide, roughly 71 million in the US. Back in Black alone sold 22 million copies (50 million worldwide), and went on to become the second highest-selling album in history. they are in there late 60s and still rocking better then the younger bands 200.000 people was there went for 3 days each day was over 200.000 they can only play in stadiums Thunderstruck 1990 album The Razors Edge by Australian hard rock band AC/DC.
that's definitely over 100,000 people right there!
next week their black in black album turns 40 years old! it is the second most sold album today
I'm 58.. I've been to I don't know how many metal and rock concerts. They're loud, they're electric, and the most exciting place to be, on the face of the earth. They don't fight in a mosh pit. When concerts come back, you gotta go!!
5:24 It was about 200,000 people. You can verify it on Google or Wikipedia.
There are quite a few metal concerts with 70-80,000 fans in because they quite often have festivals with quite a few bands. It still takes a special band to do it on their own though.
The Old Boy Probably Sleeps In That Hat... LOL!
Malcolm Young(1953-2017) Along with his brother lead guitarist Angus Young did almost all of their song writing and thunderstruck debuted in 1990
"He was going to Ashfield Boys' High and he used to dash into the house after school, wouldn't change and would practice guitar all night in his uniform," Engleheart said. "Margaret suggested he wear his uniform on stage because he was this crazy schoolboy guitarist - and it worked."
Classic AC/DC! Bon Scott died in 1979 any music after that year was with Brian Johnson on vocals. Every Concert by AC/DC is pretty much a Sell OUT! You guys are having fun with the music I grew up to in 1976 thru the 1990s that's awesome! That's Mosh Pit Girl😜! I saw them once they always put on a great show. I won't tell ya how old I am but tickets were like $12 and there were 5 other bands Aerosmith, Journey, etc., somewhere between 75,000 and 80,000 people in attendance in Cleveland, OH 1979. Let The Madness Begin Lol!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE!
Ok i'm not an ACDC expert by any stretch of the words meaning but i know that Bon Scott was loong gone when they released this song/album
I think this song came out in the 90s
Thunderstruck was off of the Razor's Edge Album that came out in 1990
Dear girl : A moshpit is the definition of 4 words combined. Pleasure, Sweat, and Furious Love
Oh my gosh, I cannot listen to the song while I’m driving, I will get a ticket lol
Maybe you two should consider going to an AC/DC concert before they retire
Best reaction from you two. You let yourselves feel the song
no, Bon Scott died in 1980 just before the Back In Black album was released, Thunderstruck was from The Razor's Edge Album in 1990, all Brian Johnson. I saw them on that tour.
*HA HA HA!* "Mosh-Pot". People DON'T normally fight in a *mosh-pit* but rather *bounce-off each other harshly." It's a blast when you are in one!!!
This is years after Bon Scott. Bon died in 1980 and this was released on razor's edge. This was written by Malcolm and Angus Young. And Brian is singing it.
I've been watching other reactions to this song and I knew I had to find y'all two rockers. You didn't disappoint.
It's really cool to see young black people enjoy AC/DC
This is a later song. Bon Scott was the singer from 1975-1980. Brian Johnson has been the lead singer for 30 years
I was there 25 thousands people were there that night took me 3 hours to get on the highway toward home great night great concert
Think about this bro. You ever have days when you just tired? You see that energy up there? Those boys are around sixty years old there. That's dedication to their fans to rock people's asses off! And all those people in the crowd of all ages screaming the lyrics.....This is a Spanish speaking country bro!!!
Yes and they do it all without the use of drugs. Just pure raw energy. A class act if there ever was one.
that's the Chuck Berry duck walk with an Angus twist on it
Ac/Dc at River Plate, it was three nights sold out each night, 200,00 + each night
Bon died in 1980 just b4 the Album Back in Black, this is on their Black Ice Album 👍🤘🇭🇲
This wasn’t a Bon Scott song. He is buried in my home town. Give TNT a listen. Good work guys 👍
Malcolm and Angus Young, scottish born, formed the band in Sydney in 1973.
U 2 b bringing the energy 2. I'm rocking out with ya
It's from 1990. Brian wrote it. I love watching young people discover their music. And damn she's cute.❤🤘
Love the reaction. Your questions have been answered. Many huge metal bands fill stadiums. You should try a concert after covid. Best night of your life. No fighting. Mosh pits are few and voluntary. People are there to have fun.
Oh my God she is adorable
Thunderstruck 1990
Writen by Brian, Angus and Malcolm. 🤟
Mosh pit ( slam dancing ) not fighting , those can happen but mostly it’s just a little rough fun. You also get crowd divers , crowd surfers happening in the pit as well very fun . A bit nuts but fun.
Saw huge Josh pit ,god smack, steady flow of ambulances hauling people to hospital people would pick them up like crowd surfing and push the over towards paramedics
Young man and young lady. I have been an AC/DC. fan since I was in highschool, in the 1970's!. Yup, I am a LOT older than you. I took my daughter, when she was 11, to see them live, 2003, Detroit, MI, Joe Louis Arena. She is just as much of a fan as I am. I am pretty sure her new daughter will be too.
And I'm older than all of you. At 66 years old I'm glad to hear that the younger generation likes and appreciates this great band. I have been a fan since the early 70's and still rockin' to them.
Had to make me giggle, she was 7 and I turned 40 😳. Yes I walked with dinosaurs lol
It’s love when you two can appreciate good music 🎶 from someone in your era keep up the good work
That was just normal crowd not only for AC/DC but for any big time rock band in the 70s til this day.
The brother playing guitar always in a schools boys uniform.
You guys should watch avec perform music awards , it was just cool seeing all those other musicians rock out to acdc
You guys need to listen to some cold chisel or jimmy barnes (lead of cold chisel before they disbanded)
The mosh pit, not all the time lol sometimes they are just moving around and dancing and having fun
Simple. They are rockers!
Acdc best show
80.000 peoples
3 days complete
Total:250.000 people in the 3 days
And an estimated 1.6 million people at the Russian concert they put on.
The total was actually 600,000 ppl over 3 nights
AC/DC = Energy Squared. :)
These cats were in their 50's when doing this concert. Still full of energy...
Bon Scott died befor Thunderstruck was written. Brian was their roadie and sounded like Bon so it was natural fit for them.
The rhythm guitar and lead guitar players are the ones who started the band
Look up a video titled "Dead As Yesterday - Zakk"
It is of Zakk Wylde. The original post on RUclips was taken down because of copyright so, this is what is left, and the video is from the mid 1990s, thus not best quality, but you will hear his voice and the runs at the end, and be amazed. 😁
200,000 and they did three sold out shows that week .So 600,000 people. Its nice to see you young folks enjoying AC/DC.Bon said if something happened to him Brian Johnson was who he would like to replace him
Stadium Capacity for a concert was 200k but there were 181,000 people there
If u think this crowd was something, u need to check out the bang Rush, live in Rio. Doing an instrumental song titled YYZ. That was 60 000 people all losing their stuff. They sing the music. And remember, its an instrumental, no words
I think there were 150,000+ at that concert. React to Metallic live in Moscow 1991 (especially Enter Sandman). There were 1.6 million+ at that concert.
And they sounded GOOD.
AC/DC, Pantera, and several other bands were there too.
That move Angus does is a variation of Chuck Berry's Duck Walk
Respect
chuck berry in the 50s did the dance angus does he liked chuck so much he used it
It's called a mosh pit 🤘🤣🇭🇲🇭🇲
What a voice... hehehe Bon was great, but Brian rocks.
Thunderstruck is on the Razors Edge Album from 1990 Bon died in 1980
No se como llegue aca, pero q buena esta la morocha por dios!
AC/DC let there be rock live at Apollo theater to see some 1977 AC/DC
YES!
Absolutely
Estimated at 500,000 it’s called a MOSH PIT
It's a "mosh pit" and they don't fight, per se. It's more about slam dancing and crowd surfing. But, people do get hurt somtimes, some have even died.
Sorry I missed some of your vids I missed u i love your vid
You two are funny. It's called a mosh pit. You totally have to see a real rock show!,
Very nice guys ,I'm in ,good luck
Mosh pit, crowd surfing....supposed to be fun and safe. No fights, just grooving with the music.😎Bon Scott didn’t write this...nope. Most of AC/DC is the brothers Malcolm and Angus Young. Malcolm on rhythm- watch him sometime....he’s the unsung hero. RIP Malcolm Young.🎼🎶❤️😎
Great react guys. Acdc live are insane.try some iron maiden 🔥rock on
3 shows 200k people total great job
You left the background music on for the entire video! lol
They play this In the home opener for the Chicago white six
Steve N Seagulls does an awesome cover. Turned it Bluegrass!!! Sounds perfect!!
Bon had the best and unusual voice ever! Angus and Malcolm brothers but Malcolm passed away he had Alzheimer.
Don't worry about the hair guys. Cause I ain't got none now. I used to have hair like livy lol
200,000 people each night for 3 nights in a row.... that was inside, more outside the stadium!!!
A Noose would be a good prop for the Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap. I was listening to ACDC back in the 70s. Brian usually wears a hat. Every time I saw this band, they gave a 100% performance. 200,000 was the attendance. I believe they drew 300,000 with the Rolling Stones. ACDC was the headline band.
AC DC = Horsepower .
If you wanna see the biggest concert of all time look up monsters of rock Moscow 91. 1.6 million people.
We reacted to that type dean bro’s moscow
But I retract to it with my girlfriend
If you want to see her reaction
Banging
