Greetings from an Argentine who was lucky enough to be at that concert in River Plate that day. I recommend that you react to Highway To Hell that same day in River, the crowd was fantastic. Cheers!
i love the energy, its awesome. AC/DC has been my favorite since before Bon Scott died. i've watched this whole concert and those folks rocked from beginning to end. more energy than you can imagine.
Best concert footage ever! Love this video. Watched it many times. Been to many great concerts through the years but this concert must have been epic. The energy of the crowd is crazy.
My dudes amazed by the crowd. There were 3 shows at River Plate, 3 days in a row all sold out to 100k + . People traveled from around the world to see this show.
One of my friends who died shortly after high school was a huge ACDC fan and when this song came out, all I could think about was how he missed out on this song. So everytime I drive by the spot where he died, I blast this song. It's been 33 years since he died and I still do it . I know this song came out in 1990, prior to this song I played Back in Black for him. He was a great dude, I saw him the day before he died, he had just made the Dean's List and was doing so good. He crashed his car on his way home from playing Jesus in the Christmas Play. Someone drunk was on the wrong side of the road on a blind curve, he tried to avoid it but a truck was parked right on the edge of the road and he plowed into it.
I've seen every acdc concert tour starting with the Highway to hell tour . And I was at the River Plate show , not to mention River Plate is my fav ⚽🏆 team 🤙
At the end of their Runway is 2 Huge Speakers. I've been to a couple of their Concerts and They have them there. My ears were ringing all night. I loved it !!!
The last concert at River Plate was on December 02, 2009. The bands that performed were: Las Pelotas / Heroes del Asfalto / AC/DC... 13 years between concerts.. AC/DC Sold out three nights in a row to the tune of almost 200K .. which is three times as much as their last show there!
tanto tiempo pasó e incluso habiendo estado ahí, recién ahora tomo dimensión de lo que viví. Para mí era normal, después de tantos años, ser el mejor público del mundo. La pasión Argentina es única.
True story: I lived in an apartment when I was 14 and a family friend named Brian Johnston lived with us. He was a Chef and got me in to AC/DC the crazy thing was. Not only did he have the same name as the lead singer he looked exactly like him too to the point he has been stopped and asked for his autograph thinking he was him. Imagine looking like a celebrity but having their name but having to tell people "nah, I'm not him" 😆😆
Yes it is the track that The Doo can’t stand playing; and yes, this live at River Plate Stadium, Argentina. Great version. And, Great channel, guys!! Love it!!!
Released in '90 when I was in the army guarded the russian border. I love most of their music but this holds a special place in my heart, Tactical flying choppers a cpl yards off the ground with this song blasting, whlile thanks and bv's made theire way over the tundra. Epic times.
I don't understand how gentleman of your age and obvious intelligence couldn't have heard of AC/DC before in such magnitude. They're are a trio of you.
Just came across your channel for the Bill Burr Philly Rant. Stopped to watch a few more. Here I am now. This is the best concert footage this 65 year old headbanger has ever seen. Don't even need to watch it, I have watched it too many times to count. Watching again to see your reaction! Enjoying your reations! Subscribed & liked!
AC/DC Live At River Plate was recorded in Buenos Aires in December 2009 when nearly 200,000 fans (over 3 sold-out nights) attended this show. At the time the stadium could accommodate 65,000+ people.
This band is so tight. They’re with each other all the way though. They make it look easy, but it’s really not! It’s also impossible to state the impact and influence the Young Brother’s had in Australian music. Angus and Malcolm in AC/DC, and their older brother George who was guitar player and main songwriter in The Easybeats (mostly known for ‘Friday on my Mind’). The only band in the world to remain Number 1 when The Beatles came to town. Without them Australian music would be in an very different place!
alrite lads big moaner here lol, thanks for doing that im glad you enjoyed it. you might be more familiar with back in black or highway to hell by ac/dc they are about the most famous songs by them, my wife and i got married in feb this year and our walk-out song after the ceremony was highway to hell.................quite a fitting song i thought :) dave im glad you are a crowbar fan as they will be one of my requests at some point. take care guys
I said to my "slightly christian" wife the other day. "When I die I'd like Highway to Hell played at my funeral". She was not impressed but as a fervent atheist I would love that...............
Just think: River Plate holds 72,000 + IN THE STANDS ALONE. Now add the entire field full of people, which has to be at LEAST 30,000. Pretty insane inside an enclosed space.
Saw them in their For Those About to Rock tour...they fired off cannons at the end my ears rang for a week..and they cracked the Joyce center where it was being held 😂😂
Here in Oklahoma, we have the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA. Every home game, at least once, you'll hear this song running through the P.A. system. Everyone gets up and starts cheering, and NBA commentators have even said it gets to be one of the loudest crowds you will ever hear in basketball. I can't wait for this Covid shit to be over so we can go back and get as loud as hell. This was a great video!!! Keep 'em coming, guys!
Brian Johnson the singer is a Geordie. He was in a band called Geordie back in the late 60,s-early 70,s and toured the North East of England working mens clubs.
Fun fact...Brian Johnson isn't Australian. He's English. Funny enough, that wasn't what shocked me the most about him. What shocked me the most is that he's only 5' 5". Angus Young is 5' 2". What the hell? This whole time, they were Hobbits and I never knew.
The energy coming off the crowd can restart a dying planet.
But now our own country’s economy lol
@@1dering11 the star died and was born in a supernova called brian johnson
@@1dering11 We still can't get over the version of the 1930 German economic model that idiot Peron imposed, but hey, we're on it
It could jump start a supernova! Emasculate a black hole! If the Big Bang has a soundtrack, it's the music of AC/DC!
Yes it can

The crowd is so great. They jumps like one wave
This is how you rock in your 60s! AC DC have always done it their way for half a century. Awesome.

He died in 2017. He’d suffered with dementia for a few years and hadn’t toured but I’m not sure what caused his death

There is no way Brian Johnson's voice should work in singing music but it is absolutely perfect. The world is a strange place.

Depends on who they were exposed to. Might not have been a staple in their house
Best rock band in history. Period. No one can change my mind. Other bands are good. But none even come as close to AC/DC!
When I hear this song; I immediately remember Operation Desert Storm. April 5th.
