From the 1977 debut album " Foreigner", Lou Gramms and Mick Jones wrote this masterpiece. From the first note, it gives a haunting feeling and surrealistic chilling effect, with it's richly textured instruments and gutsy, raw vocals provided by Lou. The lyrics pull no punches, with memorable metaphors, delivering the message clearly. Greenwood's catchy keyboard, the synth hook and guitar bridge all provide a fantastic melodic super song. Made it to Number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100's, all contributing to their 80 million in total record sales. Great reaction Handsome Harri ❤❤ Great choice Neal 👏👏 Cheers from Canada ❤❤🇨🇦🇨🇦
Awesome song! Brings me back to my high school years! Thanks Harri and Neal. And congrats go to Foreigner for recently being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. About dang time! 🙂
Marcus- You're welcome -- my pleasure. The R&R HOF is a joke! A band's greatness isn't defined by being inducted into that dumpster fire. How many kick ass bands waited to get inducted for years while trash was being inducted before them on a yearly basis?
First time I heard Foreigner I was shooting pool with a friend of mine. I told him this band is going to be huge! He said, I don’t think so. I think I won that bet!!
Well PN Combies....you finally got Harri to react to this gem. Congratulation. This channels needs more classic rock. Keep it up brother.👋👋👋Funny, I never once thought Foreigner or Cold As Ice had any Queen influence. 😀😀😀
Imadrummin - Thanks, brother. Mick Jones - Foreigner's architect - was influenced by American R&B and British rock. He moved to NYC and formed Foreigner with 3 Brits and 3 Americans. This sounds like Mick Jones and Lou Gramm to me! Long live class rock!
I'm pretty sure I did, I'll double check, usually anything 70s southern and classic rock,I'm usually checking it out, thankful again for great requests and Harri always on top of the reactions!
Had some great albums come out around that time, including the first Foreigner and Boston albums to name a couple. Great time to be a teen in California.
the album cover looks very "The Very Best" everything precise and clean no potholes or dirt. My wild guess is it's the Road to Monument Valley. they got a website nah it doesn't look safe it shoots you to other record company's upcoming artists web site.
HEY HARRI LOL 😊SO THIS WAS FROM THEIR DEBUT ALBUM ( FOREIGNER ) THE VERY 1ST SONG THEY EVER DID WAS THE OTHER HIT WHICH WAS ( FEELS LIKE THE FIRST TIME ) 👍
trivia sometimes my old usb2 audio interface disconnects and i miss the first seconds of the vidyo. Tranche de vie of Jacques the reaction vidyo liker-viewer.
YOU DID ( WOMEN ) HARRI FROM HEAD GAMES 😊BUT THEY DO HAVE A GREAT SONG FROM THIS ALBUM AS ALL SONGS WERE AWESOME AND IT'S ( WOMAN OH WOMAN ) 👍YOU DEFINITELYYYY NEED TO DO SOME MORE FOREIGNER! 💯 BLUE MORNING BLUE DAY, LOVE ON THE TELEPHONE, REV ON THE RED LINE, URGENT, WHICH WAS A HUGE HIT HARRI AND YOU MOST LIKELY HEARD IT BEFORE! 😊TAKE GREAT CARE!

Listen to their first hit. “It Feels like the first time” great vocals also! Great voice Lou Graham!
Lou Gramm
Legends! Half British / Half New Yorkers!

What a great selection Neal. I haven't heard this song for ages. Thank you and Harri.
Foreigner was SO HOT when I was a teen omg their music was and remains some of THE absolute BEST!!!!!
Great pick Neal! The 70's ended with a bang with Lou Gramm and company! Great reaction Harri!
Chuck - Thanks, brother! This was my eighth Foreigner selection since becoming a patron. Did you see his reaction to "Hot Blooded"?

Seen them in concert back in the 90’s, was amazing!
Me too! I saw them as the headline with Cheap Trick & Loverboy at the now defunct Universal Amphitheater by Universal Studios.
@ awesome!
Lou is amazing. The song is crazily catchy. AND it does sound a lot like Queen for a sizable part of it. Loved your reaction.
Thank you Neal what a wonderfull suggestion, fully enjoyed this 👍👍👍
You're welcome, Agnete. This is the early Foreigner we came to love as teenagers!

Some of their best songs are Urgent and Head Games!
Ironically, Roy Thomas Baker, who produced Queen, later produced Foreigner's Head Games Album but this song was on the first album 2 years prior.
Try ‘Say you will’ Another one you’ll like
Double Vision and Dirty White Boy are great too
Drums really added to this one!

Harri didn't mention that the piano riff comes from sesame Street

Totally agree with your observation. Clearly Queen’s influence on this track is very strong. Great tune! As always, enjoyed your reaction, Harri.
Fabulous song! 🤍 I thought the same about the vocal harmonies and lead guitar sounding very similar to Queen ^_^
