    Do you think shooting in 4K is key for cropping videos across social media platforms? Seems to hold the quality

    What If you dont want to crop the video, but still want it to fit vertically in 9:16 (with full screen)?

    • @altitudeuniversity
      @altitudeuniversity  Месяц назад

      Thanks for watching our content.
      If you want a video to fit vertically in a 9:16 aspect ratio without cropping, you have a few options:
      Letterboxing or Pillarboxing: This involves adding black bars to either the sides (pillarboxing) or the top and bottom (letterboxing) of the video to maintain the original aspect ratio. This way, the video will fit within the 9:16 frame without cropping any content, but you'll have black bars around it.
      Scaling and Padding: You can scale the video to fit within the 9:16 frame while maintaining the original aspect ratio. This might leave some empty space on the sides or top and bottom, which you can fill with a background color or texture to match your video's aesthetic.
      Creative Editing: If possible, you could reframe or reposition elements within your video to ensure important content remains within the central 9:16 area. This approach requires some editing skills to adjust the composition effectively.

      No, Adobe Premiere Pro is available on both Windows and Mac computers. The two versions are almost identical.

    Vertical Video is what an amateur does with their smartphone because they do not know any better. Social Media is a bad excuse for bad composition. Instead of turning your phone 90 degrees and taking full advantage of a 16x9 (1920) environment. Sadly it's become a thing. Next time you are watching a vertical video on your amazing HD TV, look at all that space on your 16x9 TV that is not being used. It's not rocket science. Having it available as a function on any DJI product is dumbing down your client, de-educating, and in general includes unnecessary functions to the drone. Peace. :-)

      Thanks for your feedback and taking the time to watch our content. The world of photography, videography, and drones constantly evolves, giving people of all different tastes new ways to express themselves. While everything isn't for everyone, it's good that the field keeps expanding, right?

      @@altitudeuniversityThe field has been expanding for 150 years. Talent and expression are not in question. Plenty of that going on. Basic fundamentals are another. So much technical digital Video technology has brought us to an HD environment. Some misinformed social media platform comes along and everyone dumbs down. Sadly, that is not self-expression. That is dumbing down a craft that has been "constantly evolving". Peace to you.
