Ashton Kutcher’s Dream Cars | Jay Leno’s Garage - Развлечения
I really had no opinion, positive or negative, about Ashton Kutcher until I heard Walter Payton is his favorite. Having Sweetness as my hero when I was a kid gave me a work ethic that has served me well in life. You're a good man Ashton Kutcher!
Aa
You should see all the humanitarian work he and Mila Kunis do. Especially fighting against human trafficking. Really exceptional people for Hollywood.
Great comment Trent
I really had no opinion one way or the other either, until he mentioned that he was a Chevy fan.
Sweetness is the football players name? Whoa
I never thought much of Ashton until I heard him speak on Capitol Hill (it's on RUclips) and appeared on Shark Tank. He is not a burn out goofball like he plays on TV. He's actually got a head on his shoulders and is very business savvy.
I'm sure your opinion means so much to him
@@squirreldog1596 Im sure your comment means so much to Jason1Pa.........
You need higher standards.
Truly enjoyed this, two real men that stand behind their causes.
My whole admiration to Jay Leno.
I love that I've been fortunate enough to visit Jay's garage .... absolutely mind blowing. More like a museum than a garage.
Jay's garage is a museum, a modern Harrah's, preserving transportation for future generations. It's a nice gift to the world, and Jay gets a kick out of putting it on the map. Win-win all the way around.
Superstars trust Jay
@@photopicker jay just has a garage. In a museum you just dust stuff end never touch it. Jay uses his stuff
We had the chance to go to his garage in Burbank..had a tour.. was a great short experience but it’s just a huge warehouse full of cars the RUclips channel gives you more info than if you just went there.. he has an interesting collection..most of which I wouldn’t choose but his a history nut and has the biggest steam car collection in the world..
So last we were told he has 180 cars and 200 bikes
One of my favorite actors..seems like a good guy.
When I was 17 in 1987 I took a ride in a 1979 Porsche 930 white on brown and it blew my socks off. Will never forget the sounds and feel of that beast.
Jay's got it all. My dad wanted this car but had to fight in Vietnam and finally after a long time battle of cancer from agent orange exposure lost his life on Valentine's day, 2019.
He was a gear head, grew up on an Iowa farm milking cows in Ames Iowa. His dad, my grand dad was a tail gunner in a B-24 bomber fighting in WWII. My dad loved reading Hotrod magazine back in the 60's and loved Richard Petty!
"this car" as in which car?
Wanted what car? which one are you talking about?
The Chevelle.
Thanks for mentioning your Dad and what a great man he was ... Would have liked meeting your Grandad ...
My Dad served in the Army Air Corp in WW 2 ....No doubt that they were the Greatest Generation ... for 100 diff reasons
@@tallspaniard1 Absolutely the greatest! Thanks!
He still looks 30. He's only gonna look 35 by the time he's 50. Aging amazing. He definitely moisturizes as everyone should. Sexiest 43 year old.
Its cos he bathes in dead illuminati babies to stay young
This Ashton guy has one chiseled chin! 😆 he’s 43! Still looks (and acts) like he’s in his early 20s, the lucky bastardo! One cool dude though and with a Mensa level IQ of around 160 apparently…brains, looks, wealth and he’s married to a really beautiful and sweet lady. Some really do win at the lottery of life.
If he really had brains he would have said no the freemasons and illuminati.
@@joebuzz2758 nothing wrong with the Freemasons, as for the “Illuminati” that’s just a myth 😆
@@DavidDatura I come from a long line of mason's, father, grandfather, great grandfather 32nd degree mason's. U are blind to think the illuminati is a myth. Government's around the world, Hollywood, music industry and more is saturated and controlled by it. It's right in your face everywhere.
Mensa level IQ of around 160? What are you talking about, that is absolutely not true.
@@bobdroll6381 yes it is! Do a simple Google search if you don’t believe me 😒
*Ashton Kutcher is no car guy, PERIOD*
L
Shut up
I’m not a big fan of his either, but you’re just saying that because you don’t like him. He’s got way nicer cars than most of us will ever have, including you.
I have to agree with you. But he is just too young to know that a Porsche with a whale tail is likely to be a 930.
He’s a moron.
I love how he is just reading the badges of the cars Ahahaha
It was really nice hearing a non-car nut's thought process of the Chevelle SS. Believe it or not, thats the type of person most of those cars were advertised to. Not total gearheads like most of us are now.
SWEET car from Sweetness!! Beautiful job, Jay!! Loved how the cops made Ashton so nervous he couldn't count to three!
Jay, that’s the kindest thing you could have done for the kindest guy ever❣️
My dream car is a 1963 split window Corvette. I got to sit in one when they were brand new in the showroom. I was 13 but if I was 10 years older, I would have bought it on the spot. By the time I could drive I couldn't afford, much less find one. This is one dream that will have to remain a dream.
I thought Jay would of gotten that 70’s show wagon. Bahaha
Thanks Jay. Watching this felt good.
Jay is such a quick wit.
I graduated 95. Growing up my dream car was the grand national
I graduated in 87 and it was mine. 🤣
Mine as well. Still is
I graduated on 07, my dream car was and still is a viper that first gts with the blue with white stripes paint is still on my bucket list when the kids are grown, but the GN has always been top 10 for me
I graduated 1985. In 1985 I went to the dealer and saw a 1985 T-Type Regal with the Grand National engine in it. What rare and beautiful car. It even had T-Tops.
The 72 Chevelle emblem super sport was upside down in the grill
I wish he woulda said "This is an El Camino, that's Spanish for 'The Camino'"
“We can get a man to drive it for you” 👍👍👍🤣🙄🤣
Ashton, old buddy… a car guy you are not.
What's a car guy?
@@imanuel8883 A guy who knows cars because he loves cars.
Well atleast he wore demi out
@@imanuel8883 a guy like jay Leno where if car breaks down he can fix it and knows all about engines and suspension, etc.
He's an "activist".. First to preach to you about global warming but wants to drive a 454 muscle car.
Saw a few "The Ranch" shows and loved. A friend had a Chevelle 454 and it changed the world around it for sure.
Small Town, Mid Western kid who made out very well for himself and still doesn't take himself too seriously. Doing well with what God gave him I guess. He's no Scientist that's for sure, but he's a very likable person and clearly he has grown comfortable in his own skin. No pretenses whatsoever. Would definitely have a beer with him!
He studied biochemical engineering.
Such an awesome team of guys to do this. They can just play off each other so well.
Bananas is racist
Well, that was a lot of fun....thanks Jay! The Walter Peyton Porsche was really cool and the 454 Chevelle...total monster! I drove a friend's '70 454 El Camino on wet roads and had to start in 2nd gear to keep the back wheels from spinning...I feel ya Ashton!
The choice of the Porsche let me down. WTF. Ashton can even fit in that car.
I agree that was super fun video Michael
Couple bags of rice in the bed and you'll be alright.
@@AimForTheBushes908 Funny you should say that because we were building houses in a new subdivision and I was sent into town to pick up 500 lbs of tile. Because of the traction problem on the rainy roads I strapped down the load over the rear axle....what a difference...never forget it!
@@MrIslandman59 nice! I'm jealous that you got to drive that beauty.
This guy never age.
Wow this man hasn’t aged a day. He looks like Tom Brady’s son now 😂 good old days watching 70s show. First show that inspired me to become an actor
Literally watching 70s show now lol while watching this. In the show kelso is a cop and gets locked up in uniform 😂😂
man, I wish I had a fraction of the money these guys have. Imagine having the money to buy any car you want?
Work hard and maybe one day you'll have your dream car.
Keep selling those widgets and one day you may….
Don't wish, do.
@@HELIXGHOST ,"work hard"? Even smart? Now THAT is the dream. My late dad(an educator) instilled in us the "value"of hard work, discipline, striving for excellence, loyalty to employers, etc etc.In my career,I added(balancing)protecting both employers' and colleagues' interests. For his efforts dad had his career torpedoed,25 years later, ditto mine. What we did not count on,were scuzzy employers and fellow colleagues.Add ageism to that. But ja,those are the breaks.
@@ronaldbaatjes2470 I feel that. Decades of loyalty to the company
Only for mgmt to change to young people whom have never worked for a living, and possess no respect for those who do. It's ok tho. From now on it's ME FIRST.
I live my life vicariously, through Jay Leno's garage! 👋🤓👍
Nice Vid guys..My ol man had a new 69 SS elco ..loaded when I was 10 yrs old .Sure brings back memories ..Ty Jay and Ashton
Love Ashton! Great episode!
In 1981 in HS I was driving a 1968 Chevy 327 camaro. I really missed that car much
Just got my dream car a month ago.. 67 mustang fastback 390 4 speed!!
Nice.Congratulations.
Jason, pics or it didn't happen. 🙂
Ashton is from Iowa too… Love his reaction to the Chevelle:)
Amazing episode!
Jay and Ashton this was a really great show. I do allways enjoy your episodes Jay but this one had something especially thrilling and I loved Ashton trying to guess what car would come out by it's sound. The Porsche was just priceless as I love and am fortunate to have one but mine is not a turbo iv allways loved Porsche from childhood and never dreamed I would drive one let alone own one. The amazing sounds and beauty of the muscle cars I grew up with gave me chills so kudos to your team as well thanks for sharing your personal hobby with us all as I have watched you alot of my life and you always brought the best out of your guests your band and your comedy you are really funny and a great star in your own way. Tonight show has suffered since you left I rarely tune in . Long life and happiness
Grew up in Chicago and always went to his restaurants and clubs.. I Miss him n Chicago!!!!
Awesome, two people I like to see on the TV. And in the movies.
I knew a guy who knew Sweetness. Even showed me pictures of them together. My friend was the drummer for Robert Cray Band.
Cray wrote some great songs. Thanks for the reminder! I'll have to put him back in rotation. Cracking drums if memory serves...
Jay. You are a really great person. Love your show. Congrats on all of your success and I wish you the best. My first car was when i was 16 and it was a 81 Yellow Trans Am with a 400 pontiac and a 400 turbo trans. that car drifted around corners. Never had to power brake it
Think conan would disagree lol
@@markoneill8188 was about to say lol
Sweet! I took my driving test, in a 1970 El Camino in 1977
This was a totally cool episode Jay! Ashton was a little freaked out but you were able to question his man card and make him man up. LOL so good. Keep up the great work and enjoy the time. You are living the dream!
My best friend's mom took us to a benefit basketball game the Bears were putting on in Chicago in '79. They signed autographs afterward and when I put the 4th thing in front of Walter, his said it would be the last one! "Yes sir Mr Peyton sir"!
I love Jay Leno and Ashton
Funny watching him talk about these cars😂He is liking the SS Chevelle. I love it myself and would love to take it out for a spin
Thank you 2 for doing this episode.I'd love either the Chevelle,or the El Camino even more.I'm not a real 'Porche'guy.(Back's screwed and getting out...)Why are so many bent on ragging on people they don't even know?Internet bullies, that's who.
Dream cars! I enjoyed this one!
The first car I had a romantic encounter in was a 1990 Ford Tempo. It was about 9 years old by that time. That was a comfortable but slow car. The automatic seat belt almost strangled me twice when it wouldn't unlock.
what a nice guy ashton is and a car guy too
That 930 Turbo is BEEEAUTIFUL!!
Nice to have plenty of money. Love the Chevelle SS, had a 396 back in high school (1977)
Not only is Ashton from the same state as me and a loyal hawkeye(Go Hawks) but he has an excellent taste in cars. My half brother has a gold with black stripes 72 SS
Happy Saturday
Yes, there are some gorgeous classics. But I've never found any Chevy pulling me by the tie, besides one. The 1968 Chevelle. It's the only chevy that just does it for me. The only one I'd love to have in my dream garage. Ik the 70/71 are "THE" Chevelle for most. But the 68 is that perfect mix of smooth, yet mean. Satin black, lowered with torque thrust wheels. That's my perfect Chevy.
It's actually the 69' and 70' that are the dream chevelle for most.
I personally LOVE the 68' over the 69' myself. That rear end looks so lovely to me. It's a beautiful car.
I find it hard to choose between a 68' and 70'. One of each would be perfect.
@@AimForTheBushes908 it's the back lights that make it for me also. 68 for me!
@@5150mario yessir!
That Chevelle SS looks stunning. The amount of effort that might have gone in to restore it…really great craftsmanship
This just put a tear in my eye. Walter Peyton is someone very special to me. And to see his car there.....well, it brought the tears.
Good stuff
Crazy that I happen to be in Columbia, MS where Walter Paton grew up while watching this.
SS 454 Chevelle would be my choice. I love Big Blocks. I've had several. My 66 Chevelle has a .040" over 427 Rat and Muncie M-20 4 speed.
Jay Leno = the best
I met Sweetness at an SCCA race at Mid-Ohio. He was very approachable. Nice guy. He was racing that weekend.
When Leno said. “We can bring a man in to drive you” I LOST IT hahahahahahahahaha
I’ve never been a Leno fan, especially with all the Conan late tonight show drama. That being said this show is awesome and incredibly entertaining
Is a banana racist
Jay.. "it's turning into a nightmare" lol 😆
Hi Jay. I love watching the driving segments, I recognize a lot of landmarks. I lived in Burbank Ca, from 83 to 86. My uncle Des had a very successful Irish pub on west Magnolia Blvd. Literally on the N Hollywood line. It was Des Regan's Irish pub. I believe it's a sports pub now? I grew up in Brookline mass.
Ashtons always ashton. Right on 🤘
He should have done the Canadian tuxedo again. That would have be awesome.
Given the price of cars, leno is prolly a trillionaire by now.
He lives of the money he earns as a comedian only, he has never spent his Tonight Show money, which means he’s seriously loaded.
"i dont know dude...where's your car?"
Omg, Kelso... 1:10 lol
This was fun.
The car I would have liked to have seen in the lineup is the Fisker Ashton drove on Two and Half Men.
This guy is so handsome, he should be doing movies
Lol jay scared me at the end there lol
Walter Payton seems to be a generation before Ashton. Not sure how he was his favourite when he stopped playing when Ashton was still very young. That Porsche was sold for $324,500 at an auction BTW.
Ashton's dad probably the big fan of Payton, so maybe it's him influencing Ashton's preference.
He would be old enough to have watched Walter Payton, the fridge , and the whole super bowl shuffle crew... I was born in 74 and knew almost every NFL player in the late 70s and early 80s
Ashton was 9 when Walter retired. No reason why he wouldn't be able to remember him. I still fondly remember a lot of my favorite Cubs from the early to mid 90s.
that chevy wow , amazing car
Good choice Ashton!..my 2nd car was a '71 Elky👍
BADASS
That 930 is insane
Had no idea Ashton is not just the guy "Dude Where's my car", is also "Dude, I know cars!"
When you said it was Walters car , gave me goosebumps ! Sweetness
I think that I like him very much :) And Jay as well, of course.
Wow Walter Payton’s Porsche! Absolute dream car. Great show
Cool!
Guy down the road from me owns a 69 or 70 nova 454 ss,talk about a throaty growl love to drive that 1
Whatever happened to The Ranch was really a great show Bennett family was wild ASF😂😂
My neighbor growing up had a silver 1978 930 turbo
Sweetness
Ashton looks like a Big Mouse, he's great, really nice guy.
If dreams do come true...I be as rich and privileged. 💯
sweetness!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Loved watching Kevin Malone in this show !!!…
“Dude, where’s my car?”
1:23 he went from zero to Kelso in .01 seconds
Ashton has aged well n he likes some sweet rides im surprised he even knew about cars
When you start with crapboxes, you're gonna look up some cars lol
I drove a number of the SS 396 Chevelles back in the 60s and 70s, very nice rides but it was the SS 396 Cameros that really got with the program. I never saw a Chevelle with a 454? The El Camino with the 396 wasn't scary at all, it simply had a hard time keeping the rear tires from breaking loose!
I drove one SS Camero that tended to drift after it hit the ton, that was scary!!
The Chevelle of Chevelle's was a 70 LS6 454 SS, baddest one ever built
All this time and kelso hasn't changed at all!!!
Love the Chevelle
A.K. shares his motor side, nice...
