- Wide toe box, check. Zero drop, check. Very thin and flexible sole, check. Now add in the ability to run on roads and trails and you're looking at the Vibe. Built as a hybrid active shoe, this guy was meant to do it all, and it's plain styling makes it at home casually too. If you've been looking at an all-around barefoot sneaker like the Xero Pro or Lems Primal Zen, this is another option we think you should consider! Time stamps and affiliate links below!

Been hesitant on this shoe for past 2 weeks, glad you guys did a review on this
Width comparisons are always good when it comes to these shoes
They're as wide as Splay, Be Lenka, and the widest stuff from Lems. They're wider than FeelGrounds, and anything we've tried from Xero or Vivo.
Freet offers a thicker 6mm insole. I buy those for all my freet shoes and they transform these shoes into super comfortable shoes. I highly recommend the 6mm insoles, it’s night and day comfort wise.
Those are some nice looking shoe. I like both colors you both have. I like how they look like regular shoes. Good video man. Thanks you for sharing this video. P.S. question have you ever Thought about do a review on barefoot 👣 sandals? I see a lot of them out there. I have a Couple of barefooted 👣 sandals & i love them because my toes are 6 1/2 inches wide straight across the sandals fits really good on my foot & it's easy to put on my feet 🦶 with my very very Extremely wide feet 🦶 i have with very chubby fat wide toes that i have. You both have a good weekend buddy.
We've got a pair we're putting through the ringer right now! Review will be coming in the not too distant future
@sonsofsever Thanks you so much for the information. I will be looking forward to seeing that & will be looking out for it.
Thanks for these reviews, they’re extremely helpful. Quick question: would you recommend the Freet Vibe over the Lems Primal 2? (Currently using Vivo Trail FG ~5.5mm stack height).
I’m looking for a shoe with a moderate stack height that would be a bit more comfortable for road running and jump roping. My one foot is flatter than the other, and I always have to end workouts early due to arch pain.
While I do think the Primal 3 (the 2 is selling out fast and going away for good!) would be a good option if you're looking for a little more stack height and under foot comfort, I don't think they'll last as long as the Vibe if you're using them athletically, specifically when it comes to outsole durability. On the other hand, the Vibe has a stack height similar to your Vivos, so there's the problem there. If you're looking for a little more stack height but you want a shoe that'll last a bit longer, I'd look at the Bahe Revive (around 10mm) or the Topo Athletic ST-5 (14mm).
This is very helpful. Thank you!
hi! how do these feel in comparison to vivo primus iii in regards to ground feel? in the video you mention they are very minimal but I would like the comparison, the vivos toe taper absolutely kills my pinkie toe and I am hoping freet will be the answer but would prefer if they had similar ground feel
Unfortunately we have very little experience with Vivos. As long as the stack heights are pretty similar though, the ground feel will also be similar. The Freet have a ton of ground feel, I can't imagine they'd be much different than any comparable Vivo model.
Which link is for the shoes?
We don't have one for Freet unfortunately.
What shoe is this? 6:30
The Bahé Revive
Are they wider than splay shoes 👟 ? Do you you think it would be good for Badminton🏸
Definitely not wider. Pretty close to as wide though
What kind of court are you playing on? I don't know how well it would do on like a wood court, but like a standard tennis court I could see it gripping well on.
I don't have this particular Freet shoe, however I have another model and one thing that stands out from the Splay is that there is no seam and they have more volume. So, the Freet tends to feel wider to me whether or not it is. That being said, Freet offers many models so they can differ.
Why do "healthy" materials matter on the shoe? You're wearing socks anyway you're never in contact with them. Not to mention that even natural materials can have artificial dye and glue on them. Not that it matters if you're wearing socks.
We mentioned this a little bit in the video, but it’s ideal to have more natural materials, not required (for some people it is required). And the chemicals that leach out of your shoes when your feet are hot and sweaty 100% leach through socks.
When it comes to dyes and glues, that’s definitely a place where we think companies SHOULD try to be as responsible as they can be integrating healthier materials for those applications.
These are our opinions 🤷🏻♂️ it’s a consideration to be made
I prefer healthy shoe materials also, however IMO healthy socks are more important and often the toxicity of socks is overlooked. If sweating profusely, some of the shoe chemicals could possibly leach through the socks, however I would think some intense sweating would have to occur for that to happen. If socks are unhealthy, you are definitely going to absorb some chemicals. I love Freet shoes because they fit me better than any other brand I have tried.
