One of my favorite bits is right after Joe and Adam have buried the first guy who got killed and the posse draws a gun on the Cartwright boys. It's subtle but you see Adam turn his head and check where Joe is before he stands up, and when he stands up, he is between Joe and the other man's gun. I actually calculated it at one point and there's at least 6 years between Adam and Hoss, and 11-13 years between Adam and Joe. Another interesting fact is that the normal age for going to college was 15-16 years old, sometimes as early as 14. I think that Adam delayed going to college though, because that would've been right around the same time that Marie died. So I think Adam went to college at 16-17. Just some interesting things I figured out! 😃
I like this episode a lot. I love Joe in it. Even though he's conflicted, he does the right thing in the end. Also I love the characters named Blue and Buck, which are the names of two of the main characters on The High Chaparral.

@@TonyKristinEngle That is such a keen observation that I completely missed! Thank you so much for pointing it out!
My Favourite Joe and Adam episode 😊
Mine too. Thanks for watching!
Good commentary. I really enjoy watching Adam be big brother to Joe in this episode.
Thank you! I do too!

I didn't know that about Blue and Buck! I agree completely about Joe. His internet conflict makes the climax for me.
