I believe there is. Social media and the ease of access to thousands of people have basically created a large group of people that would fall under the banner of Psychopath. This is because the social media is all about gaining a collection of short term gains/gratification (Likes, comments, subscribers and thumbs up from a multitude of people) from a large group of the population thus people engage in this behavior thus more Psychopaths.
Sad enough you see this in dating Jordan openly states in one of his talks that the men who have the best success on dating apps are psychopaths. So if you wanna get better at dating you need to develop and cultivate psychopathic behaviour. By extension this means the uptick in Psychopaths is because of women because women continue to choose to sleep with and date Psychopaths. Men in order to stay competitive in the dating market have to become Psychopaths.

id argue weve always had the same amount of psychopaths, i think the way the world is today so transparent with evil, that its easy to find more psychopaths. you see the black girl who killed the white girl in missouri? looks like it to me.
I think psychopaths dont build vendettas against people, so when they mention it at 4:47 i think psychopaths are more impersonal and are actually screwing people over for their own gain, because psychopaths lack so much empathy and typical emotions, that there is an element of neurotypical emotional pain from building a vendetta, that psychopaths don't really hold.
if a psychopath is betrayed, he'll be pissed off, but he doesnt do things out of anger, he does things out of self interest. now granted, who is to say that psychopaths don't ever act neurotypical? we all have mixes of black and white in us. the psychopath consciously screws over other people, knowing full well of the consequences and the ramifications of their choices. the psychopath doesnt care. thats the endline goal. if a child steals an orange, its out of ignorance, a psychopath isnt ignorant.
the real question is, do we want a psychopath to be defined as evil, or simply mentally ill and challenged?

But what definition is that, though? It varies a lot, depending on which person or professional you're asking. I imagine many of them would flat out reject the term, as it isn't part of the diagnostic manuals and no longer defined within a scientific framework. It went out of such use decades ago. Now it's just a layman's term or a short-hand, making your entire point moot.

@@Tryin2Bnice45 Health professionals don't tend to use the diagnostic terminology in their every day talks with people outside of the profession. And Jordan isn't wrong for using it, quite frankly it's more helpful to have a low resolution model for most people who don't read up on medical journals.
But if you have watched any current practicing therapist and psychologist who talk about their profession and they have gone over psychopathy in the last 5 years. They still use it, but I can't remember the last time I saw someone mention the word and not come with the disclaimer that psychopathy is technically still no longer being used as a diagnosis, and is now put under the ASPD umbrella when they retired DSM-5. Having followed Destiny for a bit, I'm sure that is how he has heard it described before he then read up on what they were citing or when he can he'll just ask people he knows who's job it is to know these things. But he's was obviously not going to waste time trying to get into the weeds of arguing about it the way Jordan and Sam got stuck on what the word truth meant. Something Destiny knew could be a possibility going in and wanted to avoid it at all cost, so the OG post is actually silly.
The mistake I see so many people here make is that they treat this clip and their interaction as if it's a zero sum game. Like Jordan's recent conversation with Alex if you had actually seen them talk about it before hand you would know they went on his show. Because there are things that he's said they genuinely wanted some clarifications on but haven't actually gotten to that point. Since so many people who have tried to talk to him about it would do one of two things. Either be hostile because they are so stupid they can't tell the difference between Jordan and Tate. Or they don't really challenge him on when he goes around the question. The talks and their goals were different but I think Alex did a better job than Destiny. Jordan still danced around certain subjects for reasons I don't understand, but for once Jordan would actually steelman the person asking the question and give additonal clarifying examples where I for the first time finally got the sense that Jordan doesn't dance around it because he wants to be able to flirt and dogwhistle to certain subsections of the audience to use his answers as scapegoats.
For instance when they went into the example about how if Jordan was a witness to a crime, he wouldn't afterwards tell the cops interviewing him who asked him what he saw "what do you mean by see exactly?"

I had that at my old job with the manager. Guy thinks his anger and strictness is power but it really is his weakness. It was one reason I left that company. You eventually start to lose the ones who bring real value because they can be somewhere else. I do think if you have to deal with that for a time to get something better in the end, it would be a small sacrifice.
I guess what I am saying is, that can be a problem in the long term but whether you have to worry or not about it I would think depends on your own goals. I chose not to deal with it because long term, it fucked my mental health up bad where I was more happy jobless than working there full time. With annoying customers however, it was more dealing with that for a small amount of time so it really wasn't anything to care about since it will happen once in a while and most likely they won't last as employees or business owners if they are too into their toxic ways.

      /ˈēɡō/

      a person's sense of self-esteem or self-importance.
      "a boost to my ego"
      PHILOSOPHY
(in metaphysics) a conscious thinking subject.
      ***PSYCHOANALYSIS***
the part of the mind that mediates *between the conscious and the unconscious* and is *responsible for reality testing* and a *sense* of *personal identity*.
I am obviously referring to the Psychoanalysis meaning and that dictionary definitions explains what my comment ment.
If you like to research and to learn more about these topics, specially Narcissism, please, I suggest you learn first hand from a diagnosed one who is hugely acknowledged worldwide and works at educating people to *deal* with Narcissists, Psychos, Borderlines and many other Personality Disorders (specially, Cluster B though), *Professor Sam Vaknin*.
He is at the forefront for raising awareness and knowledge over Narcissistic Abuse and how to prevent it or to cope for those who were unfortunate to being through it already.
So, you can either spend hours studying Vaknin's material like video channels, articles, books, crosscheck with other references (many he refers to himself either when he agrees or disagrees but always explains minutely why) and either learn something that changes your perspective or, you could continue to call it bs as well, whatever but, what you cannot or should not do is to call bs on matters you don't know enough about, even the meaning of the word you got wrong, but you know what? That is ok! There is always room for improvement if we make it. Remember that there is always something you don't know yet and keep your "ego" (now as the self-importance sense) in check.

Here is the value I extracted from the interaction:
    There's a tetrad of traits:
Narcissism - Desire for unearned social status
Machiavellianism - Propensity to manipulate, degree of manipulativeness
Psychopathy - Parasitism that is predatory in nature
Sadism - The result of obtaining gratification employing the methods derived from the prior three traits.
"If the aftermath of disagreement can be tilted in the direction of those traits, that's when the intention becomes malevolent and the problem of force becomes paramount".
This perspective elucidates the underlying complexities resulting from disagreements with intrinsically malevolent motivations present.
I see the interaction as a logical mechanism for identifying malevolent intent within a high emotion disagreement.

I really dislike Destiny's passive-aggressiveness and the way he talks over Peterson. This is not an honest interview or even a discussion, he just wants to be right and likes his own voice. It's weird how some people who do this (talking to people) for a living are incredibly unsuited for it. All I hear is Destiny's annoyance that he has to do this and the hatred for the person he is interviewing. He feels incredibly biased and threatened that he doesn't have the room all for himself.

Destiny said he was skeptical of everything regarding the vaccines, climate change, etc. in this debate. He is the least skeptical person of anybody I can think of. Total conformist to everything except for wokeness.

This guy wants to be right at all costs, it’s counterproductive, there is no deep thinking from his side, just noises to dominate the space, painful to watch. 😢

Jordan isn't very smart, he takes most of his ideas from other people and have almost no ideas from their own personal vision, on top of that he is easily offended, he can't handle notifications on X platform of people who don't agree with him, which is ridiculous given his old age and him supposedly been a grown man, an adult, he only got famous out of disagreeing with woke people, nothing special.

There were a couple of exchanges where Peterson calls Destiny out for quoting "studies" as proof of his position, and then proceeds to cite his own "peer-reviewed studies" as his evidence. Imagine being this young dude, going up against this incredibly smart and articulate man. He may be wrong (a lot), but much respect for his ability to interact with Peterson

Destiny does not seem genuinely interested in the questions he's asking--it's extremely funny and ironic that JP pointed out Destiny's disagreeableness, and how meta the conversation is, being that at the start it's mentioned that conversations between men are often, if not always, combative in a certain sense. Really, Destiny is always trying to 'win' the conversation, and this is why nothing that comes out of his mouth can be taken at face value. I'm not sure if he qualifies as a psychopath or not, and I don't think the 'truth' of such categorization matters, but man do I not like the dude.
